I’m from Chile, and this makes me so sad! We are going through some tough time, the social crisis is affecting us in every single way posible. Chile is an amazing country, i love living here, but it’s not safe right now. I hope that when things calm down, you’re family comes to visit. Saludos a su familia!!! This video is so special. I was in tears by the end! My dad immigrated from Iraq over twenty years ago and I’ve never been able to go see my family there due to the violence, so I relate to the first part of this video! I’m so happy you were able to go before the protests erupted in the country. It’s a beautiful thing to “go back to your roots.” You two inspire me daily.

One of the myriad of things I love about you, Hailey, is you’re so selflessly observant. You always notice other people (and the best in them). You watch the world around you as opposed to solely yourself (though if you did you’d see an angel of a person!) that’s a rare quality, you ALL are INCREDIBLE, individually and together ! Why am I only seeing this now? This has got to be my favorite episode. I am always so in awe of Lucy and how sweet she is, this episode had me tearing the whole time, so, so precious. I would've never thought Brad was Chilean lol

My husband and I are senior missionaries in SLC. We are actually train all the senior missionaries that come to this mission, either full time or church service missionaries. I can attest to one thing that I know, your daughter Lucy new that great grandmother before. You can see this in the way she hugged that grandma and didn't know her a all. It melted my heart. Children remember things from the other side, I am sure. What a beautiful knowledge we have of the plan of salvation. We are eternally connected and your daughter proved that with her affection to that sweet great grandma. Who knows for sure, but I believe that is true.

@@HaileyDevine Would you mind if I just showed Lucy's reaction and Brad and you going to your grandparents and his, for our missionaries we train? I could use the clips to show how both sides of the veil are connected. How important family is. I am so excited that you want to put your heritage and your roots into your home. Think about doing a big wood carving of your family tree in your family room. Pictures of your trip to these places with your families. It would l be such a great thing for your kids.

I was just watching the video, getting all emotional with lucy and his abuelito, and then.... Brad says Chileneans know how to make asados better than argentinos. HELL NO BRAD HAHAHA. You and your family are formally invited to have a REAL AND ORIGINAL asado to my house in Buenos Aires. I can assure you it is an experience you will never ever forget.

Me too! My grandpa loved his garden and lived to be 93. I didn't appreciate all that hard work as a kid, but I sure do now.... especially after I couldn't grow some basic vegetables ;)

My little brother is serving a mission for the church in Santiago, Chile! They had a lock down and couldn't leave their apartments for like a week and then when they could, they had to take off their tags. And they were like "escorted" by the military to go shopping for food after going hungry and finally asking the mission president for permission. 😱

My son is on his mission in Chile Santiago South right now. Been there only for a month. The political scene there is scary for us as parents, but he's like "this is SICK!!!" He's not fully aware of all the things that are happening, but he is safe and loving life there. He loves the people and is quickly learning the language and they are LOVING his sense of humor!!! Great video! Thanks for sharing!

I was pack backing in Chile when you guys got there finally after delay. I love this so much and felt like I was living a throw back Thankyou for sharing. I’m an Aussie and as we say I’m spewing i didn’t get to meet you but here’s always next time.
Just remembered!! When you went to Norway and you stayed in the Air bnb with the cute laundry 🧺 baskets and folding space but brad was like, we can’t do that because we have too much laundry. I was thinking, you could do that but turn them into shoots so it goes straight into a black hole/laundry pit and that way you can keep the aesthetic!!!
