6:05 Dude as somebody who lives in Western New York I can tell you right now they didn’t postpone the games because of weather they postponed the game because nobody could drive their cars to the stadium it was life-threatening storms. A retractable roof would not prevent the games being postponed because literally nobody would be able to get to the games, fans, players, referees, etc. Please do your research before making statements like this.
@@nortonhatfield7312 Again what part of the weather being snow we had no part in the games being postponed dome, portable roof or outdoors it wouldn’t of mattered. The game would’ve been postponed. Also, Syracuse doesn’t have a big enough stadium for football standards. It’s the Buffalo Bills not the Syracuse Bills. They have no issues playing in a snow storm. The issue was it was a life-threatening snowstorm blizzard that was preventing anybody from getting to the game let alone playing it. Sure if anybody was able to travel to the game and it was snowy storm conditions they would’ve played the game no problem, but it wasn’t that nobody could get to the game.
I live in STL and I can tell you that the Jaguars ship has sailed. At this point, STL won't accept any team that isn't an expansion and it will probably be another decade before people here even want one. And STL isn't a big enough market for the NFL to really push for one.
@@deepvoicedude4749 It's the 4th largest metro in the Midwest. It's larger than Kansas City, Indianapolis, Cincinati and Cleveland all who do have NFL teams. Green Bay has one too but that is an unusual circumstance so I won't make a comparison there.
I've lived here my whole life and have ancestors who have lived here since the 1800s. I know this market. That really doesn't matter anymore since the rest of the country exists, not to mention the world. Hell, going purely by population Chicago, Houston, and Dallas should have two teams but they don't for a reason.@@dvferyance
I believe that the Jacksonville stadium rebuild won’t happen meaning that the Jaguars will relocate. The place I have relocating to is San Antonio and rebrand as the San Antonio Jaguars. I believe St. Louis will get not only an NFL Team but an NBA Team as well both the Pelicans and Saints move up the Mississippi River to St. Louis.
The old University of Pittsburgh on-campus stadium (which no longer exists) had about half of the perimeter top row of seating at ground level (and even below). There were some entry gates at the very top of the stadium the would require you to walk down the bleachers to your seat. It has a sloping site, so the other half had a traditional facade and traditional closer-to-field-level entrances.
The Giants could most likely go to the Weschester County in Yonkers northeast of Empire City Casino there is a perfect plot of land with several train stations and bus stations from and to the city, it’s also just of I-87. This makes most sense as the Mara family are from Weschester County. The Jets would most likely have to go to Nassau County out by the Nassau Coliseum. Long Island is obvious Jets territory. I don’t think an NFL Stadium will ever be in NYC(proper). There is just no room for parking and tailgating . Traffic would be horrible.
The Current Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park was built half Underground But the crazy Winds they have found out were crazy and will not be repeated in the New Stadium!!
Can you make a “way to early college football ranks” and NFL rankings? I do wish they kept the 49ers in SF and built the stadium in the same area as Candlestick. Better weather for games from August through October. Would love to see an exterior like that in the NFL for the last one Not if it's when it would take place but logically speaking the Jets would build it at Sunnyside Yards in Long Island City along with Google, etc for the $20 billion mega project complete with offices retail and low and moderate-income housing that's idealistic or if possible Downtown Brooklyn would work Just imagine if those NFL venues were actually built. I think the Jets will build their own stadium in Queens near Citi Field if they make a few good runs with Rodgers. Also, Bills games get postponed because of safety concerns getting to and from the stadium. A dome wouldn't make a difference. Please don't push that narrative bc you know people are going to wrongly say that the first time a game is postponed in the new stadium. get that game off of cable, and put it back on network TV, what was longer the pregame or the game That farmer's stadium looks better than Sofi in my opinion Your favorite would create a lot of shadows on the field. Not good. That's not an "Aztec" design. It's Roman era and the design is probably based on The Coliseum. Ya know, Roman architecture. I just remember why I strongly dislike James Dolan. His smear campaign to save the garden was insane. Luckily we got the edge and vessel. That St. Louis concept was underrated is done here!
They had plenty of room without the mall attached. The sit is bigger then it looks. They could have easily built something new. The only reason they didn’t is the City was making unreadable demands during the process and they got into a pissing match.
@@scotttild We didn’t need another mall. It eventually would be over run with shoplifters. Shame on the City for my doing what they should’ve to keep them here.

I've been thinking for a while that they should use the former site of Shea stadium to build a stadium for the Jets and build a sports & entertainment district in the surrounding parking lot/area to complement all three stadiums (NYFC is building their new stadium on the opposite side of CITI Field). Then build a parking tower or underground parking to make up for the lost parking spaces.

@@Gage_Brumley Oh, how tough it would be if AROD goes down with another season-ending injury within the first three weeks of the ‘24 season. It’s unlikely, given AROD’s good track record of staying mostly healthy throughout his career. On the other hand, he’s now on the “wrong side of 40” and is more susceptible to injury. The Jets better invest in a decent backup, because the team can’t afford a repeat of 2023, with a Top 10 defense wasted on a team that can’t score points to save its life. I think that would be the last straw for Jets’ fans.

They could play at Syracuse stadium should the weather be terrible for playing football in Buffalo. Besides, the Syracuse stadium is a dome stadium.

That St. Louis concept was underrated. I always figured that Shad Khan would eventually relocate the Jags given his ties.

No way that was going to be feasible in the modern era. Not enough room and buying out the surrounding land would have been way too expensive.
