Amazing you Guys👍and a great song
i love it espcially with 1 of my fav songs in the backround
Haha that's insane! Everything there looks like it's bred tough. And here I am having cows following me with little more than the promise of bread!
that is awesome, Iv had rough days handling cattle but these are verging on wild animals, if only i was 30 years younger
The real deal... Amazing to see this life still exist ...hard work and a beautiful place ...
we got 30 angus cross brood cows here in steuben county ny on rotational grazing. handle them on foot or with four wheelers. quite an operation you have there, that helicopter net is outstanding. knew that young bull was going to charge, as that fellow gets older he will learn to avoid that. been on that end of a bull myself. enjoyed the video and the music.
Amazing!
great to watch, thank you for sharing, love the catching device!
Wow! Yet another illustration of man vrs beast. That bull was PISSED when he got out of that net. Great videography Ms. Lillian! I bet those are some rowdy, tough as nails guys.
Great video..loved it
Great stuff That is the real true grit of the Kiwi way. You should take all the Greene's out their to muster them on foot with their gentle hugs and kiss'es Ha Ha
You boys are tuff😎👍👌
Love this song
This is amazing to watch how they manage their cattle. It looks hard work and fun at the same time. A great place to raise children.
These seem to be cattle that occasionally see humans, every year or two..... so they can be a bit aggressive. Yep, it's a great place for children, but you have to strategize about how many "spares" you breed (children), in case of fatalities.
Awesome video. Would love to do this one day!
I'm 70 now and I will share a true' with y'all. Must have been 1973-74 in Foothills just below Sonora, Cal. My friend and I, Ed, both of us karate students, would drive up to the forests, get out and wild train ourselves for as long as we could take it, rolling down hills, lifting big rocks and logs, and running thru brush bearing cuts, bruises, cries and laughs. I had an Oorang Airedale, catch dog for bear, cat, hog, and practiced experience, anyway we were taking a break, resting. Did not know where we were, just a beautiful place, a forest with open glades somewhat, anyway, Ed always carried a tomahawk and was pounding it in a particular rhythm against a hollow old log. Hoppy, a stud, (short for Hop Gar/Lion Roar) growled, all 144 lbs of him and he just vibrated next to me. I looked up and something told me to look to my left. When I did I was quietly SHOCKED! About 50 or 60 Black Bulls were standing like an arrowhead, with one Master Jack at the tip, all pointing at us. We did not hear them approach and they were not there when we came to that spot. I, wow, was scared, cuz they were not but about 40 yards away on flat turf leading to us. Hoppy growled like I said and then and only then did the herd back up. Hoppy was an unsual dog, watched him unfortunately kill other dogs b4 I could intervene but saw him push cat, hog and bear up, up and away. He was used to the fight to live thing. If he were not there I do not know what would have happened cuz they were CLOSE and the trees were far. The amazing thing was how quiet they were. Out in the sparse, beautiful forest, the bulls must have been used to predators, sure. Boy, did I learn a lesson! The only animal that ever scared me as much: Sasquatch about 50 yards, just across a pond in 2012. thanks
the song at the beginning is copperhead road by Steve earl
Dayum, y'all gotta strain'a Miura fighn' bull in yer Angus!! Them's some MEAN bulls!! Outstanding manly action on some rough-ass stock!! Them dawgs could herd alligators n' cape bufler!!
Awesome!! Wow.

All these negative comments. I bet they have never been to the country where these cattle are!!! Have you of the saying, necessity is the mother of invention. This seems to be the best way to bring these wild cattle in. Besides, they are not hurting them.
Exactly. Feral cattle are as dangerous as wild bears. Under these conditions the owners of the property have found the best way to manage the problem without harming the cattle.
amazing work guys
done that a few times down south
exhilarating exciting scarey and and some of the best fun I ever had
Great video! Who built the cattle capture net great design.
Frost free tanks work great If you have the corral space have seen them In n dak no ice all winter

Great song
that's the craziest thing I have ever seen.
This maybe less stressful for the riders, but a hell of lot more stress for the bull.
No shit ! Too funny !
That was cool
Parabéns pelo seu video 😇😇😇
Looks like your in Jurassic park lol
Tap, tap with the stockwhip then sent flying awesome
Genial
Well I guess Aussies aren’t drunk 24/7
Where is the chestnut horse from.?
Wow...never realized what these poor creatures have to go through.
braide have a very good smile :) good person
So much for low stress Cattle handling hahaha. My grandfather and father ran over 1000 head of cattle and they would have killed me if I would have handled their cattle this way. I remember looking for lost ornery bulls and having to lasso them with a long leather lasso. It would take two or three of us to control the animal but I would always have to keep my cool because my elders would tell me that the horse would feel my energy level and the idea was to keep the horses calm so they could work and it always worked. Calm cowboy = calm horse = clam team and lower stress overall. Accidents happen when your not in control. It takes a much more skillful cowboy to do things this way.
So True. Animals can feel your carmer stay cool all go's well get your temper up you are in the shit all turn all go's wrong.
These aren’t just “ornery bulls”. If you read the description you’d see that these bulls are feral, unlike your 1000 head of domestic cattle which would be easier to handle.
These are Angus they man killers not domestic cattle you don't know shit
so cool
A vida q eu pesso a Deus muito legal 👍🏿
buenos bideos
Brings back memories of mustering on horseback down south. Angus are toey suckers
ok, I don't know where that pilot came from, but can we get a hundred more for American Airlines ?
👏👏👏...que espetáculo!!!Achei maravilhoso;pena que o video é mt curto...prbns.
Какая мощь и красота
Bull catching...? That's like fishing with a net!
love to go and live on that ranch for a year it be long hard work but in saying that it be amazing
Texas brush poppers have been rounding up wild longhorns in Texas brush country for a long time. All they used were good cutting horses, and cast iron balls.
We have roped the wild bulls in the past off horses, nailing them with dogs, tied them up and dragged them out. It can be stressful for the animals, and super dangerous.
The use of the helicopter bull catching net is a much less dangerous stress free option.
Hi my names Hamish im 12 and my favourite thing to do is muster so youse speak my launguge and real nice helicopter flying and motor bike riding
Why did i watch this! Lol. I have a fear of cattle that is uncontrollable. I was holding my breath when they charged. Lol. Never seen cattle handled this way. Interesting for sure.
I would think, for quality reasons of the beef, it would stress the bulls and cows out to do that with a helicopter. *edit* nevermind, just read the thing under the video. 👌
The bulls are like WTF!!!
Was going to hate on you until I read the description. Wild anything is hard to roundup in that country. Chopper is a cleaver idea. That being said some proper training is in order on that station with some low stress handling on the cattle. And sorry but way to many untrained dogs. That would not fly at my place. Would like to see a follow up video and see how the cattle are now.
How many cows a year do you drop?
I've known a lot of people from NZ, all crazy...........
Then kindly introduce your sensible level-headed self to us so that we may correct our crazy ways.
wow
What a cluster
Quiero trabajar en un rancho asi

Are they ok ?
Normal day on the hill, LOL
I breed Angus cattle, and mine are like big puppy dogs compared these, they are truly wild. Good thing Angus cattle don't have horns as I don't think they would get out of that net so easy. AUS
Do u guys have a cattle crush? It's easier do do all the tagging and everything else.
We do at our home farm, just haven't got enough money to buy a good one for up there yet. Will be a good prospect for the future tho! :)
+Lilly Newton I have a cattle crush that we don't use anymore if y'all need it
@@lilliannewton1599 is a cattle crush what we call a squeeze chute?
Ok how do I get a job on that station ? My hounds will love me forever 😉
Where's the horses
You need 2 red or blue helers
Never needed ratchet straps and a 4:1 dog to cattle ratio when working with cows.
When we took over the property it had no fences and a feral heard of stock. We caught the feral bulls that would not heard with cows and replaced them with well breed angus.
As a result we now have 400 cows producing good quality weaners each year. Now the feral stock are under control and we have a few new fences we can muster using horses. We have built new yards and introduced well bred Angus Bulls the heard is going well.
Whos leasing the station now?
u all like them mean as hell? what's the deal?
just knew it was i NZ when i saw the bloke wearing shorts and on horseback
I have never seen a cowboy with shorts on before, got a really good laugh.
Yeah, we don’t do cowboys down here, they tend t want their mummy’s too often.
Where is this at?
Land of short shorts.. looks like broke back valley
Blindfold the bigger bulls, they go quite as, when transporting them
