I never called Vans. I found a thread from 2014 on vansairforce where someone asked about it and it was confirmed to be normal for these parts. Sounds like it is common on the 10 and 14.
I don’t suppose that’s one of the parts vans recommends pruning? Because I’m not going to prime my plane just the parts Van’s recommends thought the build
@@Dragonrc. I will prime those ones due to the scuffling that exists on them. I think they’d be fine but it’ll be easy enough to just hit them with a coat of self etching primer to not have to worry about them corroding where the scuffs are.
@@AustinManke right on, I know the endless prime debat will never end but I have flown in some ooooold airplanes that are not primed so thats good enough for me.
