    You made me feel a little better about myself. I went out today for the second time ever metal detecting and found $0.22 and an old make up container on a college campus.
    I liked just getting out too. One day I will find something cool I bet.

    Nice video!
    You might have your coil on backwards? Or I do... I was told the Minelab went to the front.
    Apparently doesn't effect the performance...;)

    What do the numbers on the display represent?

      Hi, technically I don’t know but certain targets usually land on a certain number. For example a quarter will show up as a 29 or 30

      They represent how much conductivity the metal object under the coil has. Which allows you to get a idea of what it may be. Iron being the lowest and silver being the highest, with aluminum, lead, gold, copper being in the middle areas. That's the easiest way to get the idea of the VDI number representation on screen.
