What you've neglected to say, is that most"debt" is not actually a debt. Council Tax being a good example. My advice, look into the sovereign empowerment sites, of which there are many. There are many ways to avoid paying at all.......

This is what a friend of mine is facing… can you give more advice?

@@AlphaBeta-vq6ks Individual advice wouldn't be a good idea, because every case has its own merits and pitfalls. Your friend needs to become aware of what the actual law is. And they can only do that by watching many videos and make notes, and then check the many references that these videos point you to. "peacekeepers", sovereign empowerment, and Stan McDonald would be good starting point.

All good advice, other than the digital warrants bit. A recent court case has proved that electronic warrants aren’t valid court documents.

That's all OK, but when you offer them a payment plan and they say no, what do you do then.

Theses people are dangerous with their ill advised advice. No doubt they've never had a bailiff visit and just "kept the door shut", It is not that easy or simple.
Best advice. Talk to the bailiff, they will help you and don't make things worse by taking note of pretenders who haven't a clue making money out of frightening others. They are the scum and not the bailiffs.

Hi Ray! 'keeping the door shut' could simply mean talking to them through an upstairs window or letterbox, which is important if you don't want them in your house. Peaceful negotiations are still the best way to resolve debts. Thanks for watching!

That's all OK but when you make them an offer and they still turn it down then what.
