Very informative talk, needs to be widely seen. Just a pity the sound is so poor and the slides don't show properly. This material deserves a properly produced video!

Really interesting listening. As the offspring of those who went out to "build the Empire" I can see some truth to your theory. Though myself and siblings (born after Independence and refer to ourselves as Zimbabwean) supported remain our parents who born when the map was shaded pink and especially grandparents were very keen on Brexit as a hark back to their glory days of Rhodesia. They are pretty much dismissive about the importance of Europe to modern day UK. Even my dad who is half Greek (the UK used to recruit skilled people from Europe to go out to it's colonies - oh the irony) had the same attitude as today's Tory Brexiteers and would deny his Greek heritage.

Why can’t anyone get the sound right in the 21st century? And wouldn’t it be a good idea showing the slides too..?

From the amount of views, it's clear facts are unpopular.

Especially when it comes to facts about Ireland, an inconvenient truth, they call it.

@Theo Zajek ...a couple of large claims there. Would love if you could supply evidence to back them up. Perhaps then a discussion could develop? Or would you prefer to sling names?

Good question. I believe E U is centerest.
It encourages free market, but has checks to ensure high product quality standards are maintained.
Also high standards when it comes to safe working conditions, and high welfare for animal
Aspiring to carbon neutral is also a great goal.
Go back a few decades and see all those pesky rules the U K are always on about. You know, max driving hours, min rest periods between shifts max working hours per week a person may forced to work. Food standards, quality.etc
Workers in U K want these abolished! They must be mad.

Basically, "I looked at a lot of data and decided to project my own ideology on to it. Please buy my book."
