Hmm this will be interesting I own the RBH 661W on walls and they sound awesome. They sure don't suck. Best sounding surrounds I've ever owned. They outperform a lot of L C R towers that I've owned. I'm wondering if the issues aren't always audible.

On wall speakers suck only if you have the space for large speakers, not everyone has space for this stuff.

Bought some mtx in wall speakers, a cheap rockford fosgate mini amp, made the most kickass bluetooth speaker when i stuck them into am antique sewing machine box opposing woofers, couldnd beleive the bass

The KEF On-walls usually do a good job for a start. Case in point the T301s. They are really good sounding!

An informed person ... informed in what? Integrity, and the inability to be corrupted or influenced by misinformation, or brands, or distracted by the latest fad, is also a good trait to have. Also, someone who really understand acoustics, and understands that; a flat response curve, is not the 'be all and end all' of acoustics!!!
However, I seldom see that happening in the journalistic audiophile community, and certainly not in the above panel!
