    Wow, so many seed pods! Ang tiyaga mo, ate. It is a very tedious process. 😉Good luck sowing them.

    Wow Katherine, that’s an amazing seed haul. I think I’ve been successful with the pollination on some of my Gymnos, how long on average does it take for the pods to ripen before they’re ready to harvest? Maraming salamat po for sharing with us, from Edith & myself, have a wonderful day 😊🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸

      They’re all different, but maybe 6-8 weeks, my uruguayense flowered May6 and I saw the seedpod burst June19, the Bruchii flowered april 24 and pod burst last week of june.

      Hi, when the pods cracked open, or if didn’t split open, when it turned red or when it fall off from the plant. That’s for the gymno.
      For echinopsis or astrophytum for example, they always split open and you can see all the seeds inside

    How do you know when it’s ready to harvest ate? I accidentally pulled out one seed pod but the seeds look light yellow instead of black 😅 like yours

      Hi po, ready na ung gymno seedpods kapag bumuka na sya, kahit hindi bumuka pero kapag kusang nahulog ok na un. kapag hindi pa ready hindi mo pa yun mapipitas mahirap pa sya hilahin ☺️
