Broke is a joke is a modern trap song added autotune which makes the rap verses sound like a song. Stan has been experimenting with his sounds and productions since a while and some of them are coming out amazing. Recently, an American rapper Young Thug (Jeffery Lamar) put out his sequel of compilation album with another American rapper Gunna. The album is called Slime Language 2. The whole album had a great influence on Stan which can be seen on his new avatar! Stan follows thug that I know, but Stan considering himself as a Gen Z artist and hopping on mumbling was quiet a surprise. I am loving this new phase of Stan, my personal favourite is the track Snake. The problem with this genre is it might sound annoying to freshers as the sound has an absurd texture and sound design is vvv different than normal rap music. Usually, the production are very simple yet sophisticated. However, the music video is being an issue sadly. Stan has left Nofiltr and started directing his own videos. Kudos to him for going independent and I totally understand the pressure he goes thru when steering everything on his music - from production to videos. That impacts the storytelling on his videos ofc. I mean the bar he set on Tadipaar, now everything seems dull No cap! And yes even such kind of music dont need much storytelling visually as they are audibly catchy and vibey! There are exceptions ofc, we can take Sicko mode music video for an example. Last but not the least, please do not be bothered when people are being a bit extra on you for not liking one song. You know Stan fans love him too much na. Hahah stay safe y’all ❤️

The hate was expected, so not gonna lose sleep over it :) But yes, that's what I said, the audio is vibey and catchy, so one can enjoy that aspect of this song without caring about the lyrics. The experimenting he's doing in this avatar is going to push the boundaries in the scene for sure, but it also means that some people will not vibe with the new sound or care for it (just like with young thug), and the ones who do will only become stronger fans, which is great too. I enjoyed Snake but not this one, and I don't think that's a big deal. As long as the music goes on, we're here for it. ❤️

This song had melodies autotune and composition as well. But somewhere he lacked in Delivery and Lyricism. Somewhere in track he just added lines to rhyme the previous line that's all. You can listen this song once you're high 😂 (kidding) but as Jyoti said that we can simply vibe with the music without actually knowing the lyrics. Mumble songs are there which are Lyrical. Check out Travis Scott, Young Thung, Gunna, etc they do it so well even Lil Wayne does it so well. So Stan is just exploring the sound. It's okay that one song goes good and other goes not that good. his mumbling verses are hard to understand but his flow and music mixed so well that i have enjoyed even though most of the lines just passed my brain and when i read the lyrics coz not a huge fan of him but some of his songs i love to listen but when i read the lyrics and listen to the song again them i understand the story
