- We hear.a MAYDAY call at sea while we're sailing from St Martin down to Grenada in the Caribbean. We see some big swell and have an uncomfortable first day and a half but when we reach Guadeloupe and find a pod of dolphins, our day suddenly gets brighter!

Dolphins 🐬 just beautiful.
We have been so lucky with our dolphin and whale encounters. So magical
ah the suspense of the mayday call. can hardly wait for next episode to see what happens.
in the meantime, popsicles and ice cream.
It’s always fun when we can find a way to keep everyone on the edge of their seats. Good news is, we aren’t that good at it so most of the time we round off stories in the episodes.

We have been looking at doing more live streamed sails too as that worked pretty well in our two recent tests.

A sailing channel that actually sails! Refreshing! Just returned from 10 days on a Lagoon 46 in the Bahamas and we're sold! Now begins the process of selling everything and finding a boat. I just ordered Starlink RV and had a question. During your livestream, you mentioned something about a 2 month requirement with the RV package. Can you elaborate? You guys are doing all the right things - keep up the good work!
Hi! So pleased to hear you had fun in the Bahamas and are thinking about taking the leap. It’s a wild ride but so rewarding.
We are actually writing up an article for our site to explain starlink as we get asked about it a lot.
Basically, the Residential package has a 2 month portability option after which you need to return to the fixed service address. The RV package isn’t totally clear on its limitations with regards to movements but our understanding is that you are not really supposed to stay in one location “cell” more than 2 months. After that time you may receive less quality service. As we tend to move around a lot, we haven’t suffered any reduced services and so can’t clarify if this is a starlink limitation on the Rv package.
I think we were asked during the livestream if we had to return to the service address every 2 months and so I was trying to explain that we didn’t need to with the RV package.
Does that make sense?

That’s a good point. We use it quite a bit but never film it. Probably because it’s always dark by the time we think to eat dinner 😂 alright, challenge accepted. Will try and cook up some fish at some point for you 😊
7:18 i said that last week as-well, trolling too fast? But if you can get a steel tracer, may help and fit a Attractor about 4-6 foot up from your lure, You are almost Guaranteed to grab a Tuna, but remembering they can even snap a steel tracer, the best bet is to set your drag low, and try add like a bungee to absorb the shock, basically you are hard pressed pulling a big tuna in until he gets seriously tired! You gotta be prepared to lose alot of line before you make any back.. eventually he will run in towards you, but when? 😂 happy fishing!
Ps you can make an attractor out of an aluminium can and some scissors, (no need to buy one) basically the tuna thinks the lure is a fish chasing the Turbulence of the attractor, And because his an Opportunist bugger, he hits your lure, Ive near no clue how to sail a boat, but i know how to catch fish! 😂
@@trevhedges Haha that’s brilliant - it’s like the tuna has got too clever for humans and knows all about fishing lures but then gets fooled by the attractor infront lol.
I think you’re right - having just cleaned the hulls we were definitely going too fast this time and we didn’t stand a chance at catching anything.
But keep your eyes peeled for a video coming soon because we had incredible fishing luck on our recent passage! 🐠🙌🏻
@@RedSeas you will have luck, but if you catch a dolphin fish, Mahi-mahi or whatever other countries call them, (the green fish) in Australia they are dolphin fish, Try to get them both, they pair up, the flat head ones are male, the females slightly pointer face, it’s kinder if you get the two, if possible.. the female will hang around the area for quite awhile, if they are paired, so try get them both.. I’m not trying to make you all Sensitive to fish! 😂. It’s just advice you can take or leave..
