Would have loved to get more done with the Z8 this macro season but other photography keeps getting in the way!😂 Thanks for watching mate, have a great weekend!👍👌
Bit behind with producing and watching videos mate but great to catch up with one of yours. Always love your macro tips. Brought the Canon RF 100 macro earlier this year and really must get out more to use it. Cheers Keith
Hi Scott, I got great tips from this video. With you having used the Sony system, what Macro lens would you recommend? I would be thinking not the Sony lens ( to expensive ) maybe Sigma or even another brand. Any help appreciated. Cheers Mate 👍🏽📸
Hi Lee, I have used sigma macro lenses in the past with great results. I have also heard good things about this Venus Laowa 100mm f/2.8 2X Ultra Macro APO Lens for Sony E-Mount. These give 2 x magnification and they where popular at the Photography show in March. I would watch a few youtube videos to get a better idea. I don't think you would go far wrong with the sigma.👍👌
Hi Julian, to be honest there where a couple of things I couldn't get in one camera, at the time from Sony. Obviously taking price into account. I wanted a camera that shot over 10fps and was also full frame as cropping is an advantage with wildlife. I also recognized that with the youtube channel I needed a camera excellent for filming hand held. I was set to go with the A1 until I saw a couple of reviews with the z8 and 180-600 vs the a1 and 200-600. The Z8 was superb hand held which suits me for stalking wildlife and not having to carry a heavy tripod. That's basically it but everyone's decision should be different for what they want and need.👍
Cheers Scott, good advice as always. All the best. 👍📷😎
Glad you enjoyed it Rob, thanks for watching!👌👍
Some good tips Scott. I have to do some macro photography soon and I’m no expert at it. Thanks for sharing mate 👍🙏
