You're just another conservative giving out a healthy dose of poorly disguised propaganda. I knew LBJ was a corrupt human, but a lot of your commentary about the failures of "Great Society" programs and how its ruined generations of Black people is a little slanted, don't you think? Historians sir, are just supposed to relay facts and people's opinions at the time. Correlative and specious. SMH

Remember, however, what SCOTUS decision came down _the very same Day_ that LBJ died! ... Coincidence? He *Did* support it, like a good little Democrat, didn't he? 👨‍⚖⚖🧐

@@dawnsalois It was everyone including the Rothschild zionist satanists who created the Israeli nazi occupation in Palestine. JFK wanted to abolish the FED owned by the Rothschilds, he wanted to label AIPAC as a foreign entity controlled by the Rothschilds, he wanted a count of Israel's warheads because he didn't want Israel getting nukes because he viewed Israel as a threat which it is, he wanted to limit the powers of the FBI and CIA and he wanted to end the Vietnam war. Everyone wanted JFK dead, Allen Dulles head of the CIA, George Bush Sr. who became head of the CIA in 1964. J. Edgar Hoover head of the FBI, Lyndon B. Johnson who wanted to continue the Vietnam War and like I said the Rothschilds. This is why they were able to carry out the assassination. James Files of the Chicago mob who was hired by the CIA fired the first shot that went into JFK's throat, William Greer the limo driver who stopped the limo and turned and shot JFK in the face with fist poison, and Jackie who was CIA fired the last shot into JFK's brain on his left side. You can see a cloud of smoke coming from the left side of JFK's head in the zapruder film. Also, when Jackie climbed onto the back side of the limo she was retrieving part of JFK's brain to hide evidence.

His corruption started in 1950 when he was a senator in charge of the FCC. Back then it took a very long time to get a communications or media license. Johnson, for several hundred thousand, could make that waiting period go away. He was the pioneer in modern day government corruption. Kennedy issued an article stating that no American soldier should be in Vietnam. Two months after his assassination, Johnson sent tens of thousands of troops in because he was bought by the Military Industrial Complex. He was also a proven racist and treated his wife, Lady Bird, like a servant. Also, in WWll, he was exposed as a coward.

My father was on duty(46th Communications) at Clark AFB in the Philippines the day(August 2,1964), when the Gulf of Tonkin Incident began. So when I was able to go to the LBJ Library at the University of Texas in Austin for a workshop in the Summer of the early 90’s, one of our sessions was on the Gulf of Tonkin incident. I was able to get a file of declassified documents and later showed them to my dad. When I first asked him about those days, he said, “I can’t talk about it son”. I then handed him the file and he looked at some of the documents and said, “I knew something was fishy about the whole thing”. He explained to me that all transmissions came through his office and then were sent down the line until they ended in Washington D. C. I noticed that when LBJ left office he became a recluse and his hair grew long and he appeared to have the look of a man who had demons chasing him. He didn’t live long after he left office.

one of the many disgusting details about VietNam is the govt knew the Tonkin Gulf
excuse for hugely escalating was a lying sham, it was even published as such by some,
but it was a rare some, & both politicians went along w/ the huge embezzlement+kickback$ gravy train the war was. Good followup reading to this video is Alfred McCoy's book, The Politics of Heroin in Southeast Asia, & taste the degree to which CIA used the VietNam war to form a partnership controlling worldwide heroin traffic, w/ access to opium growing regions control'd by CIA & Taiwan troops left behind when Chiang's terrorist govt fled China.

The only reason the Dems switched from the party of slavery, lynchings, KKK,etc is that they found that they could do things to buy the black vote. Those programs was one of them
LBJ said it best "We need to keep the blacks down on the Democrat plantation." . He was appalled that his cronies would think that he might have become a n****r lover. Him and his wife were totally bent people
This has been the Dem party since its inception in the mid 1800s. They were always about buying votes, and messing with your liberties to do that. They have only gotten worse in recent years. Today Trump is being called racist. He hasn't a racist bone in his body. But Biden, who calls him that, has a 50 year history of being racist. Back when he was a Senator for Texas, LBJ was out dove hunting after legal hunting hours when a Game Warden appeared and started raising hell with the bunch of men. LBJ included, John Connelly was part of the hunting party (take that as you may). LBJ stepped out of the vehicle and started threatening the Warden with his job, and for doing his job. If you ever noticed pics of LBJ with other men, he's always leaning into them as an act intimidation, well...on that day that Warden leaned into LBJ in return. The Texas Game Warden was named Grover Simpson. Please give a tip of the hat to Warden Simpson.

LBJ was a school teacher who by all independent accounts actually cared a great deal about his mostly Spanish speaking latino students. If Johnson was so evil, why did he serve only one full term when he could have gone for two? Nixon completely cheated his way into a second term (Watergate ring a bell?) Johnson's Paris Peace Talks were sabotaged by Henry Kissinger in an act of treason involving Richard Nixon and the South Vietnamese. Nixon got the South to pull out of the talks just before the '68 election promising them a better deal if he won the presidency. Well we all saw how that ended up. Nixon murdered another million or two people, dragged the war on for another 4 years, helped create the Killing Fields in Cambodia and accomplished nothing fundamentally different than what Johnson had been negotiating in '68. Read Robert Carrow, Johnson's pre-eminent biographer. This right wing propagandist is bad news.

Why did Nixon say that Johnson was an animal? Did Johnson grape young men? There was something I heard once that bothered me. People don't like to think that the people that "represent" them are grapists and nurderers. I would venture that syndicates or mafia are not something Johnson was adverse to he just didn't want people outside his circle, to many loose ends. Johnson worked for others above him he did not cause Vietnam , Vietnam was something that the powers wanted and Johnson was ordered to put Kennedy down. Johnson was so dirty it makes one wonder why Kennedy would deal with Johnson just to get elected? Can you do a show on James Forrestal the first secretary of defense and the government paid his son hush money? The bad stuff has been around as long as america has existed , something was always in the dark pulling the strings. How many presidents have died while in office ? Most of them that did die ,died in unnatural ways. For instance Harrison died because his speech was long so history says , have you read the speech? Harrison repeatedly said "we don't need Roman council" over and over again then he magically died .

Great video. This backs up information I learned from Robert Stone’s book “The Man who Killed JFK, THE case Against LBJ”. It went into great detail about Johnson’s early career, the Kennedy family, Marylyn Monroe, the Mafia and even to LBJ’s fondness for alcohol, defecting in the presence of Kennedy’s facetious associates and even the glee he took n showing 13” “Jumbo” to startled Asian journalists. I hate LBJ. He got several of my friends killed and ushered in the Huey, Dewey and Louie agencies that are the nucleus of the modern Administrative State. Remember how the Administration had Roger Stone’s home raided by an FBI SWAT team? LBJ is the root of all of the evil that has beheld our nation since the Kennedy murder.

@johnscott5662 On on separate points, How did LBJ "defect," as you say? And to which country? Did he seek to join Oswald in an attempt to renounce his U.S. citizenship? Or was Johnson happy being an American? You write that Kennedy had "facetious associates." Did these associates really joke and jest inappropriately? If so, why were they hired/why weren't they fired? Being a presidential associate is a serious (not a facetious) job, after all.

What Johnson did to our soldiers in Vietnam should have had him convicted of treason. I joined the Air Force soon after our troops came home, and the stories I heard were devastating. Johnson lost that war for America. Nixon was stupid, but Johnson was criminal. Afterwards, I agree the possibilities are strong, and it did take time to accumulate and coordinate. There are gaps and subjective claims, but I have a tendency to believe what I watched.

Old guy here. I overheard my Dad talking to relatives and they were discussing the JFK assassination. The quote I remember him saying, “LBJ called. He wanted his gun back.” I was only 8 or 10 at the time, and I thought that was crazy. But after reading many books on the assassination, specifically one by Roger Stone about LBJ’s involvement now makes a lot of sense. He talks about Mac Wallace in the book, but I didn’t know he was implicated in that many murders. He was lbj’s personal hit man.
I knew he started his campaign on the “war on poverty” by giving money to poor folks, mostly black, who didn’t have a father in the home. The quote I read somewhere attributed to Johnson was “I ‘ll have these n**gers voting democrat for 200 years.” With that in mind, it clears up the picture of why he supported the civil rights, specifically, voting rights. Again, it was to curry favor with blacks.
I always knew he was corrupt, but I never thought it was this colossal!
This was a great video about how totally dishonest and unscrupulous lbj was. That statement really seemed to sum up his life.
“He never did anything unless it benefited him.”
Sounds exactly like the modern demonRat party.

Lyndon B. Johnson, often known as LBJ, was a complex and controversial figure who left an indelible mark on American history. His presidency, which began with the tragic assassination of John F. Kennedy, was marked by both significant achievements and significant challenges.
On the one hand, Johnson was a master politician who skillfully navigated the halls of power to pass landmark legislation. His Great Society programs, which aimed to address poverty, racial inequality, and other social ills, resulted in significant advances in education, healthcare, and civil rights. His signing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which outlawed racial segregation in public places, was a watershed moment in the fight for equality.
However, Johnson's legacy is also tarnished by his handling of the Vietnam War. Despite his initial reluctance to escalate the conflict, Johnson ultimately authorized a massive increase in American troops, leading to a protracted and devastating war that divided the nation. His decision to run for re-election in 1968, despite the growing anti-war sentiment, ultimately led to his defeat.
In my opinion, Lyndon B. Johnson was a complex and contradictory figure who left a mixed legacy. While his achievements in domestic policy are undeniable, his handling of the Vietnam War remains a stain on his presidency. Ultimately, historians will continue to debate the merits of his leadership and the long-term impact of his decisions.

Johnson’s mistress, was to have been interviewed after his death, of which no great revelatory merit would be widely gleaned. She would permit her recollections to become published to which she would designate as irrefutable. The night prior to JFK’s Dallas assassination,
Johnson, would confide in her, likely with an unassailable deference of her gravitas, she did confess her witnessing proof of his debased nature.
That author published that she had said to him that, “After tomorrow I will no longer have Kennedy to push me around.” Isn’t it also provable that Johnson’s narcissism could never entirely mask his indignation for any person deemed his superior?
That same publication released, of which I will return and edit in proof.
In the proceeding year Johnsons contriving to gain the elective win, he requested Canada’s Prime Ministers advisement. Publicizing a declaration to give the nation, in parity with Canada, the enactment of universal healthcare.
A heads of state victory dinner, and with that nations attending Lester B Pearson, with staff will be meeting at LBJs ranch. A presumed divestiture of kindred allies promised papers of inception to mirror a healthcare act in America.
Utilized in Britain and Canada, the Canadians arrived as requested in Texas.
Johnson’s home meeting of the foreigners, was awkwardly bereft of anticipated administrative US officials. And the recently elected president greeted the Canadian leader saying, “Well you showed up as promised now can just turn around and F Off!!!”
With no denial of reason or purpose the much smaller studious man reeled and groped to exit. The Canadian was esteemed of great societal intent, now visibly shaken, instantly recalled the recent advisements of his security, ringing true. A hulk of a devious usurper set on personal gain by any and all means.

But this review and film omit the fact that he used his sometimes corrupt powers to the benefit of the American people in ways that no president other than FDR ever did. Were it not for the Vietnam War and the domestic espionage, we would remember him as the single president able to effectuate the Equal Protection Clause in the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act. Medicare has saved millions from a total lack of critical care. He cried in his phone conversations with generals about the war while Nixon dispassionately planned carpet bombing in Cambodia. He was far more complex intellectually and morally than depicted here. This historian cites Caro's biographies but omits all of the complexities and virtues Caro also depicts. Contrast LBJ with Trump, for example, who is a career confidence man, a criminal, a scofflaw, a demagogue who is using his own power of manipulation to dismantle the American legal and political system. I don't endorce LBJ's crimes or Trump's, but it is clear that LBJ used his powers to benefit the American people. I imagine this historian is one of these Hillsdale-esque guys who seek to undermine a nuanced understanding of American history. Why do this, and why compromise your academic integrity? Why attack legislation that effectuated the Equal Protection Clause and inject conclusory right-wing evaluations of of our history? I imagine if your family had been targeted for bankruptcy, assault, murder, ostracism, etc. for trying to vote, you might have a different understanding of laws like the Voting Rights Act, also a part of the LBJ legacy.

Common people giving our own money, while the Government members, including the Army top officers deciding the technical requirements, use the taxes collected mandatorilly from the common people.
