Some points I didn't address: 1. The reason why pacing shots is good is because the time wasted spamming shots could have been time putting slow accurate shots on the enemy. Source: (Oreo's video in description) 2. Heavy Aim does not really affect precise aiming that much but when trying to put your reticle on the person initially can make it difficult. For me at least. 3. If you don't peg the stick it is extremely hard for the auto aim to take you off of the target if they are not using any abilities. 4. Obviously practice! 5. Also I said a few times in this video I have the same accuracy as Snip3down does not mean I shoot as consistently as well as him or I am hitting perfect shots. It was just a comparison using a website.
What should I do for myself because I've played on 2 and 2 sens 2 and 5 sense 3 and 3 sens and to no avail I have found no improvement in my shot. And im trying to become better but it's absolutely difficult to do so.
It's really hard to explain to most people that their natural twndencies and panicking when they get shot is their reason why they suck. My best tip for people (Obviously we can all get better) is to do whatever it takes to remain calm, confident and strategic while being shot. Thus, don't play for longer than 50 minutes without a 10 minute break. The mind must be rested enough to react quickly. Other than that practice, practice, practice. Thanks for the video.
I just started playing Halo 5 multiplayer a couple of weeks ago and my problem was that there are too many places to get shot from.It's like no matter where i went,someone can see me lol.I should have learned the maps before jumping into multiplayer.PLus team positioning is another thing i have to learn.You have to play as a team.You can't go thinking your Rambo and take on 4 guys at once it will just be a useless death.Even if you score a kill.

You need to have the mentality that someone is going to pop in front of you at any moment. Also you need to learn common areas of traverse, meaning where will the opponent that you just saw, end up, based on the direction you saw them traveling in, before they ran into cover, or went out of sight.

I don't really look at a specific area when aiming, I guess I look at my cross hair. But don't really overthink that critically because that will cause you to miss. Play calm and don't blame anyone else but yourself (video on this soon). When I play I do sometimes think "how can I make my self as hard to kill as possible" or doing unorthodox moves to out pistol someone.
This halo seems to be to be one of the hardest to aim on and just cant catch onto with. Like literally everybody talks about the magnetism but it seems like ive got antimag or some shit. Im not a newb at any sorts as i used to be fairly good in the previous halos and have been playing since halo ce on the original xbox. But i just cant seem to catch on or not peg in this due to not finding a middle ground with this newer look sensitivity.
I've heard that too, this Halo game is the hardest by far I don't care what anyone says. Halo 2 and 3 are a piece of cake to aim in comparison to this game. I feel like Reach's Zero Bloom settings are a good balance though of aiming!
Foerunner 07 it's less that they've made the game with an intentionally higher skill gap, it's more that they've screwed the aiming mechanics so that aiming can vary between games making it harder (virtually impossibly) to get used to.
That's not the only thing that's been changed with the aiming. The reason you can't peg anymore reliably is because the sensitivity all of a sudden gets incredibly high when you move the stick over too far. All the other halo games had a much more gradual change in sensitivity
I havent played any other halo games but coming from cod ive found it alot easier, i have much better accuracy on halo than any cod, not sure why but i do

I never played halo 5 and probably never will, but I'm a really old school halo player (we all know the hip fire only crap) and I only searched this because me and my friend are stoned af rn and this was somehow brought up in our random stoned conversation, so we wanted to know if 343 went with the L2 aiming with the new halos. Lmao. We gonna search if you aim in halo 4 too because we have no idea. While I was typing all that stoner crap, my friends been telling me a story this whole time and I heard none of it. He was just background noise.
Hello fellow stoner 😩 Don't worry, I can help you. Each halo game that's been released has added multiple new button layouts. So now there's a crapload to pick from in halo 5. Like 4 or 5 settings utilize the left trigger for aiming down sight, only they call it Smart Link now, and a separate button for extra zooming the sniper (usually click left thumbstick). H5's default layout actually uses this left trigger layout now. And i believe its available in the MCC as well now. I use one called Fishstick... I love it ahhh....i wrote this at 4:19...you got a minute? 😪
This video actually helped me out, after watching this I went into a ffa game to practice. Normally my accuracy is a 45-49 but my two games i played it was a 55 and a 65
I should be able to peg if I want to. I have good k/d's in all the other Halo games, and my aiming didn't change much between them. Halo 5 has been infinitely harder to get used to, and even being pretty good at this point, it's not that fun anymore. I find myself playing a bunch of custom games and getting no joy out of Slayer trying to hone my aiming technique

Not trying to be a prick but ive basically just played cod since forever and now playing halo it feels much easier than cod did, im not super good or anything but i do pretty good on halo and usually get slaughtered playing cod, the aiming is just easier, accurate guns, no recoil, hip fire is almost as good as ads, bullet magnetism, its just a different type of fps all together
I couldn't play Halo 5 for like 7 months and when I came back my shot was completely gone. I could not play well at all and it was frustrating. I tried changing my sensitivity, acceleration, etc, but I was still averaging 30% accuracy. I started watching this video while playing, and I don't know how but I started averaging 40% accuracy, and pushing 50%. Thanks.
Just moved my sens from x=7.5, y=10, accel: 4, to x=3, y=6 accel: 2 and it feels so much better in magnum gunfights. I will say tho the reaction speed is a lot slower when you're turning all the way around

This is exactly what I need to do. Much of my talent rests in being able to out think players with misdirection, making a situation appear like one thing and then baiting them into something its not, and just overall getting players to go where I want them to without them realizing its happening. Sometimes losing a battle is actually winning one if you pull a player out of an advantage which takes them time in cover to regain sheilds..and takes them time to get back to the advantage. Im getting to the point where Im thinking about battles (situations) in terms of 2 to 3 respawns focusing on the Meta..rather than just one and dones. Having said that..45 percent of the time I get screwed because Im terrible with straight up spamming shots. So half the time my positioning and mental game is rendered half effective...or at the least makes me less effective as a player. Its time to deal with it and get it right .

Thats literally exactly what I said in my post. As a matter of fact...since slowing down my shot after watching this great video...I went from having a 49.9 percent accuracy average to a 56.7 average. Heres where it gets interesting. My win percentage..which I know in part relies somewhat on teammates...but my win percentage went from a 52 percent win ratio to a 67 percent win ratio. My damage per game is off the charts. My average per game before was right around the 1700s...my average now is a 2500...and my top was over a 4200 in a regular slayer game. (I know damage averages are greatly effected by game type so these are based in slayer only). The most interesting part about implimenting these tips is that my KDA literally went from a 2.7 to a 7.7. The most interesting game was going against a Team of 4 during a solo que consisting of two diamond 6 and two diamond 5 players. My end tally was 22-10-5 with 3200 damage. These were all players with solid kds and experience. Just the simple act of slowing down my shot has greatly helped me realize the questionable situations I would get into previously. Im way more aware of the encounters where I know Im taking shots either just to weaken a player or back them down..BEFORE the encounter happens...and when Im straight up going for the kill. This simple thing has taken my game to my personal next level.

Um, when I learned all these I had no order specifically in mind. But looking back I would start with the basic stuff (not jumping till the end, not pegging, etc.) to the more advanced tips (pacing, thrust timing). But if you keep all of these tips in mind while you play, you should see your accuracy and precision rise.
Does not pegging your stick only matter for the right stick or both? I learned not to peg the right stick and improve my aim a bit but I get thrown off when I try to aim with my left stick.

Pegging is when your stick touches the rim of your controller. It basically means being really gentle with ur stick. You only need to do this with the right stick not the left.

Slomo your intro clips and try it on focused to test your true skill as you will match your region, H5 is not skill based its location based which isnt your fault but go check the locations of the top tier champs, wow your outer reticles give you critical or actual hits.....rip fairness and 343 is run by nasty toenail eating worms. (this is just to say the games not fairly balanced not a dig at you but 343 couldve 4seen and fixed this shareing the lag but these guys play the game, hi unishek wow he never mises a bulaimbotet)
Pretty sure this was a social match, where I was trying to improve my aim. Sure there could have been moments where I could have armed the bomb more. But I was probably playing listening to a video late at night, not every game especially in social I want to play super try hard for the win. But at the same time if I didn't get the kills I did would my team be able to win?
This pegging bullshit isn't an accident and the guys at xim apex technologies proved it. This crappy design should have been fixed for the longest time. My damage per game is off the charts. My average per game before was right around the 1700s...my average now is a 2500...and my top was over a 4200 in a regular slayer game. (I know damage averages are greatly effected by game type so these are based in slayer only).
The most interesting part about implimenting these tips is that my KDA literally went from a 2.7 to a 7.7. The most interesting game was going against a Team of 4 during a solo que consisting of two diamond 6 and two diamond 5 players. My end tally was 22-10-5 with 3200 damage. These were all players with solid kds and experience.
Just the simple act of slowing down my shot has greatly helped me realize the questionable situations I would get into previously. Im way more aware of the encounters where I know Im taking shots either just to weaken a player or back them down..BEFORE the encounter happens...and when Im straight up going for the kill. This simple thing has taken my game to my personal next level.

I am, by far, the WORST Halo player I've ever seen. I just started playing a few days ago, and I have the worst aim imaginable. I wish someone like this could just watch over my shoulder and tell me what I was doing wrong. Hopefully this video helps.

Um, when I learned all these I had no order specifically in mind. But looking back I would start with the basic stuff (not jumping till the end, not pegging, etc.) to the more advanced tips (pacing, thrust timing). But if you keep all of these tips in mind while you play, you should see your accuracy and precision rise.

Does not pegging your stick only matter for the right stick or both? I learned not to peg the right stick and improve my aim a bit but I get thrown off when I try to aim with my left stick.
Only for the right stick, the left pegging is fine but it is mainly for strafing the crosshair in the general ballpark of the enemy

What's peg?
Pegging is when your stick touches the rim of your controller. It basically means being really gentle with ur stick. You only need to do this with the right stick not the left.

Hey Dar it's easy when your closest to host and i think you v got that coverd. Slomo your intro clips and try it on focused to test your true skill as you will match your region, H5 is not skill based its location based which isnt your fault but go check the locations of the top tier champs, wow your outer reticles give you critical or actual hits.....rip fairness and 343 is run by nasty toenail eating worms. (this is just to say the games not fairly balanced not a dig at you but 343 couldve 4seen and fixed this shareing the lag but these guys play the game, hi unishek wow he never mises a bulaimbotet)
I find holding LT while jumping helps with aiming in-air shots.

in my opinion reach was the hardest game to aim in

Pretty sure this was a social match, where I was trying to improve my aim. Sure there could have been moments where I could have armed the bomb more.
But I was probably playing listening to a video late at night, not every game especially in social I want to play super try hard for the win.

This pegging bullshit isn't an accident and the guys at xim apex technologies proved it. This crappy design should have been fixed for the longest time. No just a Xbox One S Controller! To be honest I don't think you need to customize your sticks to be better at aiming.
hey man sometimes when i play. it seems like the game speed changes. like i barely move and I'm like flying on the game. then sometimes the game speed will be slow. this is on slayer and the new playlist is it just my internet
