1lifestyle I feel you. I don’t even think you can call it “rap” or “hip-hop” anymore. I preferred when the genres were cut and dry like Hip-Hop, R&B, Hard Rock, and then every once in a while there was epic collaborations like Jay-Z/Linkin Park (rap/rock collab) and Mystikal and Joe (rap/r&b collab) for example. Now it’s so blended and jumbled up. I do respect the creativity of some of the new generation artists, but the *essence* of rap/hip-hop is gone forever
