Thank you for making this video. I’m 35, Working as a senior manager in an MNC, handling brand strategy in india. Reason I share this is because I will be soon travelling to kolding to do my masters in management next month along with my partner. All the videos I had seen till now where about all the positive things in Denmark n student life n finding jobs; but ur story really helps put things in perspective and talks about the other side which are equally important and prepares one well. Watching you share ur experiences was a bit tear jerking n moving for me; something that doesn’t kill u makes u stronger…. N I’m sure in such a young age alll the experiences u had made u stronger n tough…. Thank you for making this informative video; Best wishes
Well the situation is this: It's against the law for any employer not to make a contract with the employee. The employer can get a very large fine if the break the law. This is the reason why you should join (get a membership) a workers union, who can help you. And a lot of Danes are aware of employers who take advantage of foreigners who need student jobs ect. And we do not like it. And that's why we have specific laws that should prevent this.
I think it is a rather well known problem that, especially eastern and central europeans workers get taken advantage of. The Unions have been fighting hard against it for years. If you are not part of a union, you should join one. Most of them are free for students. While you normally need to be member, most unions will take the case of foreigners even if you are not members, since it is a well known problem. 3F especially often run campaigns focusing on informing people from eastern and central Europe about their rights.
Trail time is ONLY to find out if you fit the job, ever hour you work should be paid according to Danish law. Please tell your friends to check a work place on trust pilot , I know it's mostly about the food/service in case of restaurants, but we the client are not stupid, off something feels wrong, we will tell on trust pilot
does the job have to be in Denmark? I work for a marketing company in Austria but I could work remotely in Denmark. Am I still eligible for the 750 Euros?
Before you mentioned labor unions, I was gonna ask if you had sought support from them. It is always worth joining a union, especially if you arrive as an outsider. They can inform you about your rights and help you navigate the legal system.
Hey,in this as well as previous videos u said that getting job in difficult in Denmark, watching this video i understand that getting part time job as a student in Denmark is hard,is it the same case when u r looking for job after graduation? FYI i am looking to do masters in marketing from Denmark.can u pls make a video on job market in Denmark after graduation or u can answer it here itself 😊
I've read somewhere that getting a job after graduation in marketing takes on average 8 months. And knowing Danish would be a huge advantage on the job market 😊
@@DominikaJankowski 🤔 cant find it in the job adds ... Doesnt mean it's a requirement though 🤔 .. suppose someone could always call the contact person and ask
Even that I have learned the language to a very high level, I still a lot of oppression, it's the worst country to live in as a foreigner, for Dans, it's a heaven
It's definitely easier for native English speakers to find office jobs, same for German and Scandinavian languages speakers, but there's still no guarantee.
There is nothing really nothing negative about Denmark it's heaven for all third rate individuals for all third rate developing and under developing nations 😆😆😆😆😆😆😍😍😍😍😍

Life is never all peaches and rainbows, there's always a less pretty side 😊
Thanks for sharing real life situation 💗
Thanks for sharing your experience, quite sad that happens but it's like this everywhere yet this happenning in Denmark surprised me.
Unfortunately it does and it's important to talk about it.
Join a workers union, they will help you with employers that break the rules. Most of them are free if you study.
what that mean exactly
Eagerly waiting for your video dominika❤❤

I don't think so. I think the company needs to have a Danish registration number and pay taxes in Denmark.
Before you mentioned labor unions, I was gonna ask if you had sought support from them. It is always worth joining a union, especially if you arrive as an outsider. They can inform you about your rights and help you navigate the legal system.
It is NOT legal not to pay you for trial time. But lots of young Danes have also fallen for that trick!
Ahhh I didn't know that!
So nice of you. ❤️۔ hey from Dubai

@@DominikaJankowski thanku :)
Lots of open positions at the moment and if you have studied in Denmark, you can pretty easily move into the job market.
oh my gosh, never have I ever thought some danish employers treat foreign student workers this badly…
unfortunately they do...
The safety in Denmark how much?
is the SU applicable to all international students or only danish students and students from Eu countries
Only students from EU countries
Heyy! Is it possible to live only with the money provided by the government (SU)? Like 5700 Kr is enough?
If you're not a Danish citizen, but EU one, you have to work to get SU

How do people not protest for higher taxes??

Husk at su. Skal betales tilbage det er et lån. 😊
misinformation
Nej, det er det ikke. Der er SU-lån, de skal betales tilbage. Men ikke SUen i sig selv.
