As an (rather inexperienced) animator, this likely took around a few hours at most with multiple people working on it. And they reused the same shot twice as well. That's not to say they're lazy, it's just a good way to save time animated something as trivial as a Taisho Secret.
Taisho secrets are not that important, in animation they are pretty much just cute moving pictures (which is what I like about them), we should be grateful they put some effort into that sequence this time.😅

That sword is as flexible as rubber like aint no way the blade didnt break or atleast get a piece broken off that sword is definitely perfect for being a fidget spinner
I actually heard more flexible swords tend to last longer in combat. If the metal is too stiff the sword will chip everytime it hits a strong enough force. Meanwhile a sword with a slight bit of flex that pressure gets diverted allowing the sword to take more hits.
