It’s so smooth tbh, not as good as the 8 speed obviously but you hardly notice it and the shifts are probably faster than the average person could do in a manual
Although earlier models had the weird paddles where you press and pull the same thing to change up or down. Later they had one for upshift on the right and downshift on the left which is much better in my opinion
The 6hp zf from the E9x and e8x series are very good (with xhp even more impressive) but I think the e8x have a slightly different 6hp then the e9x? Maybe because of the Torque idk
It’s a fun gearbox, not like a manual but the rev match is fine and the up-shifts are not too slow to became boring, I have a 130i lci AT, the only thing I don't like is that even though you drive it in manual mode it makes changes by itself at 6,700rpm aprox
Beautiful driving, but kind of dangerous in a few places. (160 on a small single lane village road with bikes is a little too much)
I have a 125i (tuned to 130i power) and that fuel light and bong was very relatable 😂
What does the 125i feel like? I would like a 130i but I’m more interested in the coupe style
love the 130, was planning on getting one but ended up choosing a A3 instead but sometimes I regret...

@@Bmw130iE87 some models with the n52 came out with a GM gbox, it is the case of the 130i lci
