This song was done in 1997 and only got released in 2005 , South African radio recognized this song only in 2006 and that is when this song started to take off. Now I want you guys to imagine this - When you go in a store and you buy a cd sometimes you forget about the cd after 3-4 years and it just disappears, now in my case I believed in this song in 1997 and never stopped believing that it would become a huge hit and like I said it was 8 years later that it was released. The sad part - How long does it take to be recognized in South Africa? There are many struggling musicians who just want their works to be recognized. I still experience that today but I just wanted to say I am humbled by the love for this song and mostly that you guys are still here. Thank you for those blessings. I still remember on my funeral, the pastor lowered my casket and I would vividly remember that I've never heard lady soul song play for my homage. I had to halt all the process and come back to life again just to hunt this track again. And now am lowering the pastors casket with this song on blast, I saw him wink with a tear drop, right at that point I knew everything was ok for him!
