Ah, the start of drastic change in animations... Although I've read and finished the manga, I never watch the OVA and TO THE TOP because the changed of studio depressed the heck out of me back then. Maybe, I'm gonna try to watch this...
Personally, my biggest beef with the studio that made adaptation, because animation in season 4 and ovas is inconsistent, sometimes proportions of the bodies of characters is incorrect, and overall quality is not as good as seasons 1-3.
Its still great (especially certain parts) also isn't the character design leaning more to what the mangaka's style has? If so then they actually did enough justice in that part, not so sure about the consistency of the quality on the animation tho.. Although im not gonna lie the previous style and animation was definitely peak

It's not that bad, it's just different. I would have liked S4 to have this animation.
