Hey hey hey I know I'm late but I joined the fandom just recently and I can state that the wholesome relationship that these two have was one of the reasons that made me interested about this game and its community and what can I say except _I ship them so hard and I love them more than my life_
im so happy to see the fandom still active even if this video was a year ago. my professor showed me this game and explained how important it was to her and her wife. seeing such a obvious pairing, it was hard finding genuinely good representation back then but they grasped at what little straw they had. it was the same with good omens and all the gay pulp novels, there is something so fascinating finding a strong healthy relationship grow like miles and phoenix even if it won't be cannon ever.
Same with Good Omens, thats just a little more nuanced because, physically speaking, the main characters are *literally* genderless (and will change apprentice on a whim, regardless of gender); But still cannontically in love (and I think married?) So it's not gay specifically, but it's definitely not straight. (or cis, for that matter)
I don't know about Ace Attorney, but I DO know that Neil Gaiman has confirmed that, while Crowley and Aziraphale are genderless and therefore not TECHNICALLY gay, they ARE in love. So, payoff, finally. :)
