Kutaisi is a city in west Georgia. It's home to the old Bagrati Cathedral. On the city's outskirts, the Gelati Monastery is a medieval cathedral with elaborate frescoes. The nearby hillside Motsameta Monastery has martyrs' remains. Historical Georgian manuscripts, ceramics and textiles are on display at the Kutaisi State Historical Museum.

You guys should do a Q and A. I'd be curious how you guys met and how long you've been traveling together? Do you always agree on your Travel Choices? Which city are you from Naomi (are you German by any chance?) - I love your heart necklace btw. I gave you guys a thumbs up as usual. I thought they have a train there from Batumi.
They do! But we wanted to take bus 🚎 more authentic!
One of my favorite You Tubers, Natasha of Natasha's Adventures has just relocated from far Eastern Russia to Tbilisi, Georgia ( the capital) She is originally from Spassk Dalny. Her credit is frozen and it has been hard to receive payments from You Tube. She is fluent in Russian and American English ( University of Minnesota) and has some capability in Chinese. Would she be interested in assisting you for a fee. She has a few friends in Georgia too.

This Soviet Time Bus station is big shame of Batumi. Till today government can't demolish or repair this miserable place 😂
