4:56 - Gotta love when that classic Phil Rudd swing kicks in full blast. He was an absolute machine during this whole concert, which for most people was the first time seeing him in over a decade.
This is a great example of Cliff Williams' quality and genius; indispensable in the band's "engine room" as one of its driving forces while being almost unnoticeable, even when you focus on his playing. At the same time, listen to the runs he delivers from 4:55 onwards. Tasty as can be, still barely noticeable, while preserving the rhythm and providing the backdrop against which Angus' lead can stand out. Masterclass.
Malcolm was a verified guitar genius. This is the ACDC that I grew up with. I have never forgotten the 81 concert even though I was front row, upper level, and as far back as possible.
Only people that have seen AC/DC in concert understand how loud those cannons are!!! And we LOVE them!!!! Tacoma Dome 2016 Washington State Rock or Bust Tour.
@@austonthebomb3162 I agree. For Those...is fucking awesome but I always thought they should have opened their shows with it. Then chosen another song to close with. They've always had the budget for big pyro so they could always go big.
I'm so happy when I think I had the chance to see that! It's wasn't the Plaza de Toros though. I saw the exact same show but in France, in Lyon city. A fantastic memory. Hard to prevent the tears to pour when I think about it; especially when looking at videos like this one. So many generations were there from children to old ones. All united for the holy love of ACDC. Thank you ACDC, I salute you.
Farewell Malcolm. Thank you for all the wonderful music, and especially for the night in Udine during the Black Ice tour when I got to watch you live. I salute you.
Just let these guys enjoy retirement. They did so much... just let them sit on a white sand beach enjoying a drink, far away from frantic environments, crazy headbangers , moshes and insanely loud systems.

At best it’s pedestrian...technically a highschool drummer would perform better, but he fits AC/DC when they became unambitious and slowed down and just needed a guy who could count to 4 in repeat. Otherwise they would have kept Slade
@@rasmuspetersen6803 Lmao dumb. Phil has such a tight metronome rhythm. He's almost like a Malcolm on the drums, easy to play but so damn hard to replicate.
@@ThePsychedelicCinema Lmao dumb...I like your rhetoric! Return when you actually know how to initiate a proper conversation with due respect for other people.
Rasmus Petersen Phil has still got it in my opinion. He has so much groove, and a high school drummer can “play” the beat, but they can’t PLAY it with the same focused groove that Phil has. High school drummers would try to show off all over it and add some unnecessary fills because they don’t yet understand the beat isn’t just simple, it has a very important groove that is difficult to replicate. Chris is also great imo tho just not as great at groove as Phil.
Rest In Peace Malcolm , time moves on , music moves on , but you will remain a rock and roll rhythm master for many years to come . We ALL miss you 🤘🤘⚡🤘🤘
how is each section of this song the same, yet so epicly unique and different in their own way?! The ingenuity, creativity, and out-right savagery of the rhythm and driving harmonics are simply astounding!
I love Cliff, Mal and Phil all looking at Angus running around the stage to try and work out when to change chords. Probably thinking "Will this bastard stop running and finish the fucking song for once"
My favorite version of this song, don’t get me wrong I love the original release but this one just sells it for me! The cannon shots, Brian, Angus, Malcom, Cliff and Rudd amazing performances; the audience and the camera shots everything.

4:56 - Gotta love when that classic Phil Rudd swing kicks in full blast. He was an absolute machine during this whole concert, which for most people was the first time seeing him in over a decade.
Rudd's drumming is tight... Unrushed and heavy hitting. Slade is fantastic in his own right, but Rudd is just the perfect drummer for this band.
Yeah, but I prefer Slade's drumming at this song over Rudd's.
LEGEND!
The best and only drummer for AC/DC in my opinion. He makes the songs more powerful!
Slade is an horrible drummer for AC/DC
@galocegodocarrossel3662 finally someone said it
Best song ever to end a concert with.... gives me chills every time... every live version...
