I used to hate on Jimmy before he came to Miami. Thought he was full of himself and not as good as he thought he was. Then I heard him speak, looked into some of his troubles with other teams, and realized that this guy has that mj/kobe mentality. He might not be as offensively skilled, but he has that type of work ethic. Some players just can't handle that type of intensity. He's home now. Miami loves you Jimmy! Get that ring, let's go heat 🔥
Exactly! I was trying to explain to ppl but they weren't having it. MJ and Kobe would get so much hate if they played today because of their tough treatment of teammates. In reality they just expect you to do your job without excuses and complaining.

I don’t see the nuggets as a dynasty team to be honest. They give me Dallas mavericks 2006 team vibe when Dirk was at his prime and the Heat beat them that year as the underdogs

Yeah, we got revenge on the Bucks for two years ago, and Boston for last year, so... I'm good with whatever happens.
I've been a Heat fan since Shaq arrived 20 years ago, and they'll always be my team, but as someone who only lives 6 hours from Denver, I can't hate on the Nuggets if they win it.
Heat have been my sleeper since they went 7 against the bucks. I believe the next year they went to the finals n I had them but Jimmy could really use a consistent pure scorer beside him like Kyrie/dame n they lost to LA. Plus being the 8 seed they had no home court advantage in any series. Had to win game 7 on the road in boston. plus heat beat both number 1 and 2 seeds. their role players are made up of several undrafted players. Dirk's team was one of the higher seeds in the west that year, so they had an easier road to get to the finals. if you watched the series the def champions lakers that year were trash thats why they swept them. He had several experienced vets around him on that championship team...jason terry ,,shawn marrion....jason kidd, tyson chandler to name a few. mavs beat miami big 3 yes...but it was their first year together...there were still chemistry issues. this nuggets team has none of that plus they have arguably the best player in the league(nikola jokic) with great talent around him and home court advantage...so i think if the heat pulls this off it would be number 1 for me especially just coming off a 7 game series and the nuggets being well rested.
