Jay Postone's cymbal placement is so whippy and flashy, it's always a challenge to play his grooves when he's playing 'dont let any cymbals stay still' with his kit haha. Well done dude. This is jazz and metal right here.
Dude you've got the IT factor and so smooth playing some of Jay's challenging rhythms. I haven't even tried one of his yet and those who don't play drums have no idea how hard his beats are to get down with all the timing and limb independence. I've been bouncing between Gojira and Periphery past couple months. Those 3 drummers are up in my top tier faves and so exciting to attempt to learn and play. Wish you all the best success. You deserve it.
Just want you to know I have been here since your very first upload. I'm now studying music and drums is my main.. I remember your AAL covers. Love goes out to you
Dude .... awesome. Super hard song to play. The first video I watched on your channel was An infinite regression .. long time ago. You were just a kid and now you are a man and playing even better. Pretty cool.
Thank you Adrian! It's okay for me if crashes and/or china hit each other a little. As long they don't make any additional sound that can be heard over the playing.
So …… aside from the fact that my dude is just amazing- I would give my left ball for that snare tone. I wish I knew what it is, wood, heads, snares all of it.
Wow! Great and steady one, great job! I like the sound of snare particularly in this one. This one is also very groovy, emotional, yeah, keep it that way! As to the cymbal on the right: ibb.co/Rh1v3n0
@@AttePesonen I usually saw the cracks off as soon as they appear (otherwise they develop pretty quickly), so they look like ibb.co/wyhgQh3 What's amazing that in your case it doesn't affect the overall sounding, the cracked one sounds great! :-D
Dude this is ridiculous! You're timing and literally everything is so spot on!
Thank you kindly Peyton!

''Don't let any cymbals stay still'' describes many parts in their songs really well 😁 Thank you kindly!
Pro tip : you can watch series at kaldroStream. Been using it for watching all kinds of movies these days.

Fantastic job, man! Like your reaction for "that was close" moments :) don't you bother that your cymbals are so close that they hit each other?
Thank you Adrian! It's okay for me if crashes and/or china hit each other a little. As long they don't make any additional sound that can be heard over the playing.
@@AttePesonen but it can lead to crackles and break cymbals, I suppose...
@@adrianmyst Oh okay, didn't know that. Gotta keep an eye out for it then.
@@AttePesonen 👍

@3:23 knowing that you just fucking nailed it. Hahahahaha
Great Job Dude !! :)
is it more comparable to 2/4? than 4/4
There is no correct or wrong answer for this one. I consider it more 4/4 but it is however you feel the most natural.
What snare is that?
It's Pearl Sensitone Elite Brass 14" x 6,5"
what kit is that 👀
