    Haven't read any comments in here yet, but I've just purchased (600 KM's so far) a 2021 GC Altitude after having a 2018 Laredo and a 2000 GC Limited. I have to say, my initial observations are, compared to the '18 that the steering is tighter, the suspension is stiffer, the throttle is more responsive, the Start/Stop is more decisive, and the doors seem tighter (ie: a more solid "thunk" when closing).
    The cons are: a slightly louder cabin noise (maybe because the '18 has michelins, and the '21 has Bridgstones?), the backup camera is less defined than the smaller screen in the '18, and I guess as a segue, the larger 8.4" Uconnect screen is great except for the above back up issue. My main beef is with the 9 speaker Alpine system. I"m a DJ from way back. I'm used to having great stereo systems in my vehicles, including an Alpine in my YJ from back in the early '90's. This one in my '21 forced me to bring the EQ bass to the minimum, and the treble to the max. Not happy about that. I was hoping that would be a highlight of my purchase. I'm really thinking of buying a completely new system. Any one else feel the same way, get in touch.
    And BJP Lifestyle: thats for all the videos!

      I just returned a ‘20 GC limited back to enterprise a week ago and yes even though the truck is nice I do agree with you on the sound system. My ‘10 Mazda CX-9 sport has a BOSE system from factory and it’s louder than the ALPINE system in the GC.

    If you plan to get a SRT, please consider also purchasing a Mopar Maximum Care plan (not the 'dealership warranty'). I'm going to guess you're going to be looking for a 'good deal' on the SRT (as you're going to lose $ on the trade-in), which means chances are it'll have high miles, or may have been 'abused' by the previous owner (launch all the things!). For a SRT, either buy new or certified; avoid 'deals' if you don't have the full service/repair history.

    • @BJPLIFESTYLE
      @BJPLIFESTYLE  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I definitely will be buying low miles on the SRT whenever I get one! I want a 2018+ anyways so it’s hard to get one with crazy high miles anyways

    I just got a 2017 Altitude. It came with the paddle shifters and a moon roof (no awd because I live in florida) came with brand new Michelin tires too (and the 20 inch wheels)
    After a bunch of research I found out that I could actually swap out the Uconnect system and the usb reader with 18/19/20 models and get car play! (around $500-600 on ebay) So that's why I went with the used 17 model.
    Got it for $24k before taxes and dealer fees! Which is way cheaper than paying thousands more for a 2018 model just for car play.

    This generation of grand cherokee wk2 on a solid frame, the new wl is no longer available, the dealer in Australia sent me with regards to the welded frame in wk2:
    Monocoque Body with Built-in Ladder Frame
    They say that superior off-road handling capability could only come at the expense of on-road smoothness. They have obviously never driven grand cherokee . By incorporating a lightweight and highly rigid monocoque body with a built-in ladder frame that provides added resistance to torsion and flexing and fixing them atop a dynamic independent suspension, Grand cherokee achieves an unprecedented combination of all-terrain control and luxury-sedan comfort. For added durability, grand cherokee now makes more extensive use of galvanized steel body panels, while the new aluminum hood panel reduces weight for better handling.

    I bought the 2020 Limited X about 8 months ago. Definitely the more “street” version of the GC. Love it though has the Quadratrac II system and living in NH where snow is abundant putting it in snow mode makes the thing a beast. I also have had some issues with fueling but I noticed it’s only certain pumps and usually at a Irving stations. Must be something with their pumps.

    I just returned a ‘20 Grand Cherokee limited and I absolutely love the truck. For a 6 cylinder suv gas mileage is not bad either since I do a lot of highway driving. The only few concerns that I have: is it expensive to maintain? And how reliabile it is? I Originally wanted a 4Runner but it is expensive (even used ones) and it’s also a gas hog. Thank you for your videos they are also entertaining. Cheers!

    I bought a 2019 Jeep GC Limited not a 4WD and I absolutely love it! Except there's one little thing I don't like. When I come to a stop on a hill, I hit the gas to take off when light turns green and it hesitates like it takes a couple seconds too long to take off. Does that make sense? Someone said it's because it's a Rear Wheel drive and I'm definitely not use to that, nor do I like it. Should I take it in to the Jeep place or is this normal? Thanks!!!
