@@WandaMaree I am certainly not opposed to vaccines in all circumstances. I am opposed to the formation of a society where blindly accepting the demands of those in power becomes normalized through coercion.
Vaccinations have been proven effective in stopping the many diseases they have targeted from spreading. Because of the anti-vaccination morons there are still sporadic outbreaks of measles and small pox throughout the world. Right wing religious wing nuts take that message with them on their missionary tours where they can spread their lies without any rational oversight. As these vaccines become more readily available to the general population over the next year we will be more likely to get our lives back to some semblance of pre-Covid normal.

There are companies that make those ultra-low temperature freezers. The BigPharma manufacturers like Pfizer Astra-Zeneca, Lilly, Bristol-Myers-Squibb, Roche and Bayer most likely have multiple freezers like this on sight.
Now as for the hospitals getting these pallets off the truck with thousands of doses, they may need some help with keeping the vials cold. Don’t be surprised if Government pays for some of them. You would think a for-profit hospital would buy a freeze like this themselves but as we have found out in 2020, $$$$ is to be made off of social, human and medical suffering!
It’s how America has ALWAYS worked.

I know what it says. "ONCO" CELLS. Does that sound familiar? "ONCOLOGY" is the study of cancer. What kind of cells are in it? There are lots of things you should look look up. Don't just be uninformed and tell people to take it. It will also change your DNA and has caused neurologic problems in the test group. Side effects? Bell's Palsey is when you have severe nerve damage in the facial nerves in one side of your face. It is extremely painful and one side is droopy and paralyzed, usually the rest of your life. I could go on and on. But it would be better if you read the leaflet and consent form for yourself. Maybe you could help others who don't know about the side effects. I absolutely agree that the side effects should be known. Being vaccine informed is vital and a friend of mine who is a nurse had also expressed reservations about a vaccine developed this quickly. But as I understand it, this first generation of covid vaccine, even with its long term unknowns, will have a greater positive net impact than allowing the virus to spread (we’ve tried basic health measures and, at least in the US, people have failed to unfold them). Vaccine skepticism and especially anti-vax misinformation must be stopped. The solution is not refusal but transparent information to all about the ingredients, side effects and their likelihood, and continuous monitoring for long term effects and immunity, but above all, continued improvement of the vaccine.
But also, “they don’t want you to know” is a large claim to make without any evidence. The industry is invested in developing effective vaccines. There is no hint that they are intentionally confusing people, and they gain nothing in doing so. The biggest risk I think is if the speed of development led to cut corners, but the FDA approval and medical monitoring are designed to account for that. Perhaps the best way Pfizer can demonstrate trust is to make the vaccine free. That way, profit won’t be a conflict of interests.

This vaccine sends strands of Messenger RNA (mRNA) into cells to code for antibodies that fight against the virus. The proteins from the vaccine are then released into other cells to tell them to create antibodies and soon your body has a large amount of antibodies ready to fight the virus if you get infected. However, the mRNA *NEVER* enters the nucleus, which is where your DNA is, as it doesn’t have to - it just has to use the cell’s organelles to produce the necessary proteins to fight the virus.

It's currently in testing with 60,000 people from around the world and won't be widely available until that testing has come back.

This vaccine is a financial risk, but not a safety one.

The USPS Amazon comes regularly; it's anyone's guess if and when the mail will come and if it is actually for me or someone at a different address. FedEx and UPS work just fine.

@@mimiseeyou Even alcohol is frozen at that temperature -114 C, -173 F, the one made by Pfizer - needs to be kept extremely cold: minus 70 degrees Celsius, which is colder than winter in Antarctica. Moderna has said that its vaccine needs to be frozen too, but only at minus 20 Celsius, more like a regular freezer. I imagine they are frozen solid!
They'll just mix it up with a little antifreeze right before injection.
