- In this video I take you on a tour of my extended balcony which is my In-law's balcony who live just above my apartment. She is an avid gardener and has years of experience in successfully growing herbs, vegetables and flowering plants. But now living in a North-Eastern facing home, she was able to find appreciation for foliage plants and bring in her years of experience in keeping these foliage plants alive and thriving. This video brings back memories of those beautiful days when me and my Mom-in-law used to crazily buy plants from every nursery that catched our eyes. Infact, love for plants made our relationship much easier and smoother... 🙂

I always give plants to my mom and mom in law as a reserve and when my plants die i take plants from them.
Lovely video, Anne! And yes, I agree with that suggestion you made, that one should be happy with the plants one has and put their heart & soul into them... I have lack of space, yet I keep buying new plants, only to neglect the old ones... But my plants are forgiving, so they stay alive.... Going to remedy that, make my plants thrice more... You keep smiling, and keep posting your videos!

It is always a pleasure to watch a garden thrive and look so lush, greetings and a big thumbs up to you and your Mom in law that is a great effort. Yes a gardener's heart is quite big even if there is no space we still find space for plants 😂 and once our balcony is lush and full of life it becomes contagious soon other balcony and gardens get a fraction of our collection and the greenery spreads 🤗

O mg so there is some body like me. Not just me crazy with plants . That pink philodendron is my dream plant and send me one to me to England. That will make me so happy. I alway complain that I don’t get enough sunlight in England. So sad about it. When it’s sunny my conservatory get so hot too. But still I run around with my plants every now and then due to the weather issues in England.

I love watching your videos. I also pick plants every now and then but I have limited space. The plants this have shown in this video our so beautiful and healthy. I have got so many plant cuttings from my relatives and also given them some. I have brought a spider plant cutting and now it is growing so good

I can't believe that the Red Congo Philodendron grew so much and is giving out such big leaves, coz I don't think it was that big in that old video of yours where you had (if I remember correctly) rescued it from the nursery. All throughout the video what excellent fertilizer was your MIL feeding them!

The plants in your MIL's house are so happy and healthy and it's quite visible the amount of love and care she puts in. I'm pretty impressed with the philodendron 'Rojo Congo'. It looks beautiful, and I'm getting it next for sure.

I too bought a smallish plant in hanging basket, it grew just like the one in this balcony, but later started drying from top, I chopped them and repotted .
