The only problem I have with a statement such as ‘trim the fat’ is that this means different things depending on who’s listening to the album. Some people like the die lit vibe songs on the album so they would ‘trim’ the punk stuff others like the edgy punk vibes so they would trim the Pierre songs. This album can never please people that’s the beauty of it.

I think Carti did the first half of the album with his new sound to please the people who wanted new stuff and the second half with that more of the die lit sound to please the die lit and self titled fans. the creativity on this album is amazing man . the overall songs are great and production is amazing ... this is a experimental album so i can only imagine his next album
I think Carti did the first half of the album with his new sound to please the people who wanted new stuff and the second half with that more of the die lit sound to please the die lit and self titled fans. This album is definitely Carti’s best work and I think Ye did a good job with the track list 🔥
Die lit is definitely a classic album!! Beautiful album! Whole lotta red is an album that NEEDS to be experienced LIVE or watch live performances to really understand what this album is. Carti has changed the game with this album
