    Hi Decathlon Gamer.
    Thanks for the insights especially on the secondary stats like STAM/RES/REC.
    I got a few questions though. is Strade Bianche confirmed as a cobble race. With other words does COB also counts for Dirt and Gravel races?
    Are you sure the 5 km prologue and 30km TT rule still apply? in the official guide by PCM it states under 20k for prologue and above 20km for TT

      @DecathlonGamer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've seen things in the guide go without updates for years, but I'll add it to my list of isolated test sessions to verify.
      The in game version of Strade Bianche does not recognize the gravel sectors as anything special, but the WDB version has each sector as a one star.

    Helloooo tank you vert Michelin for the video! I’ve eard somewhere that baroudeur ‘s attributs help also for the attacks when sometimes the red bar is pulsing (the moment de grâce) with a high attribute you may have more chance to have it… what is your opinion ? 👍

    • @DecathlonGamer
      @DecathlonGamer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a popular idea, though unconfirmed. I have wanted to test that but it's difficult to test, would require a large sample size since it's about higher percentage chance. Very hard to test something that simulates a chance. I like to believe that it's true.

      Yes i sas also thinking about a « scientific method » to verify but it’s very difficult to mâke statistics…. Well thanks a lot for all your videos it’s a real Pleasure d’acheter Time (i’ve got the same games in my library) 👍👍👍 So much quality in your videos !

    I think 85 is the max regardless of RDC. So a 83+4 attribute just means 85.
    Also, I thought gradient between 3-5% uses a mix of Fla/Mnt same as gradient with -3 to -5% uses a mix of Fla/Dhi.
    Hilly cobbles uses a mixture of Cbl and either Mnt/Hil depending on the effort. More difficult sectors utilizes Cbl stat more.
    Acc stat is only useful in attacks and sprints. I think it influences the duration of attacks.

    • @DecathlonGamer
      @DecathlonGamer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      83+4 is 87. Base attribute can never go beyond 85, but RDC can push beyond. I've tested and confirmed it. Though I did not test if you can go below 50 based on RDC, presumably you can.
      Have never heard of a combo of FLA/MTN for 3-5, though it would certainly make sense. I may have to add that to my test list.
      Hilly cobbles would mix the attributes.
      Yes, ACC is only for attacks/sprints.

    • @charlesleeray1784
      @charlesleeray1784 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DecathlonGamer Thanks for the reply. Wow I never thought attributes could exceed 85. Better to limit the effect of RDC on my playthrough then.
      I also have some other hypothetical questions and I would be grateful if you could test it.
      Let's say you have a rider with 80 Mnt and 85 Hil. If you attack, what happens when his red bar is exhausted but still some have some yellow bar? The rider animation sure looks like he's still attacking but I know he's slower due to the red bar being depleted. Will it use Mnt instead of Hil stat? Also, what happens if your rider is still blinking due to energy gel but the red bar is depleted?
      In 3D races, you can control your rider, what happens if you deliberately ride facing the wind but not exactly at the front? Is it better to ride in the middle of the bunch or it doesn't really matter as long as you're in the peloton?
      I guess it's also apt to assume that the Protect Rider doesn't work if the rider that is suppose to protect you is not within your vicinity.

    • @DecathlonGamer
      @DecathlonGamer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@charlesleeray1784 I'll add those to my list.
      As for the final two, as long as you are in maintain position (so not relay or effort up) your position within the peloton has zero impact on effort/fatigue/wind exposure, etc. Though I haven't tested it to verify so I suppose I will add it to my list as well.
      Same on the last one. From years of watching this one closely, it appears that you still get protection if they're within a few bike lengths but any more and the protection is negated. you can tell from the protected rider's heart rate, once they get more then a few bike lengths away it'll shoot up quickly.

    Are u saying that if I have a 20km tt where the entire 20km is uphill (+3%). it will only use my mountain rating instead of tt/pro rating?

    • @DecathlonGamer
      @DecathlonGamer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not 100% certain, but enough so that I left out the couple other common unconfirmed beliefs but included that one. At the very least it is very heavily favored towards the mountain rating over the tt/prl on a climb only tt. In theory, it uses 100% mtn in that type of tt.

    • @kylian8295
      @kylian8295 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes , time trials in mountains only use the MTN stat, that's why you can often see riders below 70 in TT but very good climbers winning them
      If there is a small flat section before the climb though , that will use TT/PRL depending on the distance

    Are you sur that yellow bar is Linked to stamina ? In the official guide, endurance is Linked to green bar. I Guess they all have smaller yellow bar than red bar because they all did more efforts around the 70-85 curser level (moderate to intense efforts Linked to the yellow bar according to the guide) than efforts around 85-100 (very efforts intense, which are Linked to the red bar according to the guide)

      The stamina mechanic was redone for PCM23. The information here is accurate for earlier versions of PCM through 2022.

      Just said that because I think theres a general mis conception that stamina = yellow bar. Many people write it but I think its actually wrong. All the (very little) words from dev lead to stamina = green bar and resistance being yellow and red bar, one being for high efforts, the other one for very high efforts

      I just got into the video to check. First, my last comment about the new system starting in '23 is wrong. It did start in PCM22, as I stated in the video; I didn't realize this is year three already, time passes quickly. Second, I'm 100% certain on how I described the three bars in the video, it's the same for PCM23 and '24. Third, Cyanide hasn't updated the English guide in many years. Much of what's stated in the guide is now inaccurate.

    Hey man, do you have any insight on Motivation? I know that it affects race day condition, but I have no idea what dictates it. I've had a team with decent morale, lots of success, training camps etc and they almost all have low motivation for the Tour de France.
    Now, this *was* in like 2030-something so it's possible that the game was just bugging out after getting that far in, I *did* have my guys complaining about not racing enough directly after racing a grand tour, but I'd still like to understand motivation.

    • @tpbriano
      @tpbriano 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just from observation when playing it's the obvious stuff - favourite race, good result in the previous stage etc. I had a guy start the TDF with low motivation because he had been unhappy leading up to it (not enough races, no good results etc.). Then he won a stage and next stage it was high.

    • @EditsbyM
      @EditsbyM 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tpbriano Ok, it must have been bugged then, because winning stages in the tour did nothing to it.

    I am quite new to PCM and have a question. What impact has MTN and HIL on time trials that are quite steep (f.e. 7-10 degrees). What distribution of attributes are on that stages? Also Decathlon Gamer really love your career with BIBD 😋 Peace and love bros ^^

    • @DecathlonGamer
      @DecathlonGamer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Not 100% confirmed, but tested and supported with a decent sample size: anything over 3 degrees becomes full mountain unless the effort is above 85 where it begins to crossover with hill. Like I was saying in the tutorial, TT/PRL fully replaces FLA rating but everything functions the same otherwise.
