wow this is really good i recognised some of the old photes of driff and on some of them you can see the changes but on other it still the same well done
I’m originally from hull but have lived in Driffield for over 5 years now. This place is truly a special place I spent 30 years in hull but Driffield is my home
Nice, I'm from NZ but played rugby for Driffield for 6 months, just feels good watching this because there's a lot of history to Driffield and I'm just happy I've seen a bit of it with my own eyes, I worked for a good man by the name of Charlie Booth, I wonder if he's still around? Anyhow, all the best to Driffield and it's people!!
as soon as you mentioned the zanebar,i felt like i was back in there,i lived on the raf camp with my dad when i was about 16,in the late 50s,so many happy times,i have never forgot about driffield, never had so many wonderfull memeries.from maureen.
i have just by chance watched this,it brought so many wonderfull memeries back,i lived on the driffield raf camp with my dad in the late 50s,when i was 15 or 16 years old,oh i was so happy there,so many lovely friends,my name is maureen,i like many others used to meet up in the zanzee bar cafe,i can still see it in my mind now, my frinds and the lovely raf boys naming but a few, christine, josie bowzer,2 pams,an ex boyfriend of mine by the name of billy belfer, his friend alan and geff, happy days,x
I am a southerner who stayed on the camp in 1984 or 1985 whilst doing my Army driving course. I loved the place, and had some good nights out !! I think we did have a little scuffle with some local lads one night, but whatever !!. My old Army buddy Dave Lyon comes from there.
I have survived a week in Driffield. No crime except street drunks. No sex except sacks of sunflower seeds on offer at bargain prices. No rich folk in Rolls Royces, no cafe set sipping tea from fine china and nibbling cucumber sandwiches. Upset locals by telling them all Muslims are walking dead and will be slaughtered when Jesus returns shortly. Spotted small trout in the beck and big ones in the canal.
voted by who, the people that say that , have never been anywhere else, apart from Bev Hull scar, and Brid, there shit as well, Driffield is a small market town what do you want, bright lites of London, Newcastle , its what you make it, some good pubs but two many kids in them

Hello me 12 years ago
A very interesting video. Thanks. Driffield is where I was born, and I’m up regularly to visit family. It has changed hugely during my lifetime.
