I can not thank you enough, I have been scavenging the internet for audio recordings of Jung's work for 2 years and no one has put in the work you have. I am indebted to your contributions, keep up the amazing work, thank you thank you thank you
This was the first book by Jung that I read it took me a year. Since then I have been a student of Jung’s work which has helped me to understand a great deal about myself. He is without doubt one of the towering intellects of the 20th century whose work is ever more relevant.
jesus mate. did you stand there stright up for 10 hours speaking and reading? your a machine. thanks, even reading that book is above my paygrade. thanks for the work. have a like i guess
The opening is serious for anyone with an interest in the metaphysics of psychology to be hooked. 27 years old in college receiving my degree next year and audiobooks like these will begin the shaping of all future students willing to learn!!!
Thank you for these audiobook versions.. my eyes have changed so much I can’t read like I used to. I love Jung and hard to find recordings with voice tones I can tolerate. Thank you 🙏
Two hours in and already I have had a couple of epiphanies. 1. Christ is so pure, he has no shadow BUT the shadow is infact to reveal itself through the AntiChrist. 2. Evil does not exist because it does not come from God, evil is simply that which diminishes good. Though I don’t fully understand, something clicked. Jung is remarkable.
After having a vision" This is my son with whom I am pleased " Jesus goes into the dessert to fast to validate the vision and get answers there he engages his own shadow( Shatan) but it's interpreted as Jesus being tempted by the devil to cover up ( to the reader) that Jesus has a shadow. Eve is tempted by Satan ( another attempt to cover her shadow) Job tested by God through Satan ( to cover God's shadow)
No where does Jung state “Evil doest exist “.. just the opposite.. Jung ‘s main disagreement with the Catholic Church was their denial of Gods ‘evil”’ and projection of all evil on to man..
@@thealchemistdaughter3405I wasn’t quoting Jung. But he does explain someone explaining “evil doesn’t exist at all” at 1:59:40. My understanding of this isn’t perfect I admitted, btw.
There's a part of us that understands far more, but we aren't able to realize this consciously. I'm junging in there for the entire book knowing something is sinking in. 🙏
I enjoy falling asleep to your voice while reading this material. Would you ever consider using binarial beats in the background or soft nature sounds to accompany? Thanks for sharing these audiobooks.
Does anyone know if the Aion spoken here is the same as "Aion" the mmorpg korean game? I had felt it had some meaning all long while playing that game.
Maybe some unconscious gods can do what they do in the light but they don't like to because it requires a particular relationship with the its qualia for it to exist alongside the light in your attention and not be forced away like oil in water. Like a squirrel noticing you notice it while it eats something.
Did you create this audiobook by reading it yourself? If so, bravo on the pronunciations. It's rare that audiobooks actually sound good and clearly spoken at 2x speed. If not, copyright infringements may arise.
Just as darkness gives light a more 3D vision in painting. Light would not exist without darkness and if you can imagine your whole life as a circle , and everything in existence as a circle. But this circle is made of light and dark and they should not be separated So evil, and darkness relates with Light and good. The biggest mistake is to focus only on the light or good for in doing you supress the dark momentarily while empowering it at the slightest opportunity to take over. Look at the earth, a sphere that goes in a circular motion, imagine we wanted to manipulate the earth to only ensure that the US Is in daylight all hours of the day what will happen? The goal is to be in the center. And by embracing all aspect we remain in center. Just like nature. The challenge of man is our attachment, we are attached to concepts, pleasure, seasons. We play favorites and thereby suffer because of this. Look at nature , the cycle of life ,ecosystem. They suffer lesser than us because they understand. But we think we are wiser because of our intellectual the ego which gives us a false sense of supremacy yet a more complicated life.

Reading Jung is like sitting beside a large and placid lake, like fishing. Here and there, something useful is taken, being tangled in our thoughts. However, most of the text shows us what a dog hears when people talk and is useless.
Thanks!
Thank you

I enjoy the book and the ideas encoded on it
Very well read.
Thank You, The Red Book next?
For the red book, I recommend humble u media channel.
cringe, he's not very humble and really has a disgustingly pretentious take on it, the audio book would be better.
Agreed… would love an audio Red Book
Nah. Already red it
