Well. I don't even know where to begin to thank you for these comprehensive, complete, and easy-to-follow tutorial for the assembly of this trike. Honestly, the instruction manual was so ridiculously UNhelpful that I'm not sure in which future decade I would have finished putting this together - if ever! You do a great job ... I could have used your assistance when we were assembling our grandson's crib. Good grief - impossible! This Little Tikes trike looks amazing and I can't waigt to try it out tomorrow when our grandson comes over! THANK YOU AGAIN.

Ahhh thanks a lot. Got the neon blue deluxe. Found this really difficult to build. Instructions are useless lol. Glad we found this video. Our handle bar lock is really stiff and it’s brand new out the box. Need to use plyers or something to turn it. Thanks for the video

Amazing video, quick question - i've slotted the pole for the parent handle in correctly but the holes at the bottom don't quite match up and I can't feed the pin through. Could I have made an error in assembly somehow to cause this or would it be a faulty item?

Hi Gareth, if I'm honest I haven't had this trike for a while now and I assembled it a few years ago. All I can really suggest is to check you followed video step by step. I remember the instructions that came with it were awful. Best of luck with it.
Very useful thank you we found a little circular bit of black plastic and we aren’t sure where it came from any ideas? It’s not something needed to assemble

Thank you so much for this. Any idea how to lock the pedals for stage 1? Tried finding a toggle in the front wheel but can’t find it anywhere!
I don't own it any more but from memory you rotate the pedal which is attached to a white rotating bit of plastic. This must engage into the wheel groves which then allows the pedals to rote the wheel. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.

thanks for the instructions. the foot pedal for my toddler trike went back but I want to take them in front so he can place his feet but it doesn't come in front even though I pinched the button to push forward. help pls

YES!!! And also the “push” handle! I was wondering if others were having the same issue with that also. The rear axle is round, and the shaft that holds the push handle is also round, so it doesnt sit flush against the axel.
I've just assembled one of these, and didn't align the the front wheel bar as per the warning.... Any ideas of what I can do please?
It's been a while since I assembled one. Can you take it apart again by pushing some clips in maybe? Sorry not much help but I don't have one to hand to check. Best of luck!

Hi, yes it is but you need to partly dismantle the handle bar and wedge something down it to release the clip. It's not easy! Good luck.
How do you get rid of all the excess slop in the steering between adult handle at rear through to front wheels
How do u get the front wheels to engage?
From what I remember you have to line the wheel up with the loose plastic hub part, then slot it into the grooves on the wheel. Hope that helps.

Maybe try the reverse to in the video. I did this a while ago so unsure exactly how to do it now. Best of luck with it.
is there a way to make the pedal...well pedal....so it won't have to be pushed
we are unable to fit the handle screws in. They run loose. Any suggestions?
If they run loose they are either not lined up with the thread or there's a chance you can over tighten them and strip the thread. If you never felt it tighten up then you just need to line it up if that makes sense? Sorry if that hasn't helped.
Can you please tell how to dissemble back rest and secure ring ?
There are 2 buttons on the back of the backrest. Push them in and remove the seat. Then unclip the plastic safety bar from the front on the handlebars (should just pull away), and put the backrest back in. It's just the reverse of what I show in the video. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.

just finished assembling this and the handle bar lock won’t turn. Currently stuck at unlock. Any tips on how to fix this?
Try removing the handle bar, and turn the lock switch, then refit the bar ensuring it slots over the pin inside the tube (as seen in the video). Test the switch before tightening back up. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
I have pulled the piece of plastic out to disable the pedals from turning but it hasn’t worked ? I have pulled it out and made sure it is unlocked but still not working any ideas ?
To be honest mine tends to do that. If your child rests their feet on the pedal it will stop turning as there is no real friction involved when it is disengaged but it is a bit annoying. Sorry if that hasn't helped! Thanks for watching.

Lauren Powell I have the opposite problem. I’m trying to engage the pedals so they turn the wheel but the plastic part isn’t staying in place. It will work temporarily but when my son starts peddling with any pressure it pops out almost right away. Bit of a design flaw if you ask me. Basically it just works as a pushcart lol
My daughter loved this but we've just upgraded to stage 3 and that hub thing to engage in the pedals just won't stay in the wheel. It clicks firmly into place and is difficult to pull back out again, but within a minute of her trying to pedal it slowly loosens then pops back out. Thinking about superglueing it in otherwise we're just going to have to toss the whole thing. Very disappointing.

Do you have any info about the harness?? I bought mine secondhand and the harness was completely dismantled amd I can't figure it out!!!

If its cracked then worth taking it back for a replacement. Best of luck.
We are missing screws and bolt for the handle bars and score for from pedal foot rest pedal . How can I get these

We originally managed to assemble it from the instructions (lots of cursing involved) but a year later, for the life of me, couldn't figure out how to take apart the handle steering thingie.

The m4 screws do not line up
Mine only came with 1 little purple cap that goes on the wheel in the first step…is that okay or am I missing a part?
I thought the same thing look at the instructions that came in the box ours come with a big piece that looks like a brake it’s a different piece than his in the video

But there is an issue regarding the front wheel
The little plastic that hold the wheel will loose after driving
So is how to fix it !!

@@POUSEaroundtheHOUSE It's brand new but I think it was a factory defect. we got it fixed tho we had to take it apart and loosen something inside and now it clips and no problems now.
