calcrules oooohh!!! Super cool. See how well they each portrayed the word. This was already said, but Katie’s soap was prettier but I didn’t see ‘bouncy’. Kenny’s was more rough, but was very clearly’Queen’.
When I hear bouncy, Tigger came to mind. That would have been a cool soap
Tigger, a ball, a layering that looks like a rock skipping.
This says Haloween, Disney (she's obsessed with Disney lately) but I don't see pumpkins and think "bouncy"
Then again a Freddy Mercury mustache would have been cool for "queen"

I love Katie's soap so much but I would have never guessed that her word was "bouncy" when I saw it. Kenny's, however, read as "queen" or "king" right away, so I think that Kenny's is the winner for me
Yeah Kenny's reminds me of things you might see at a renaissance faire but Katie's, while nice doesn't, really say bouncy to me.
To me it just looks like a queen of hearts soap, which I mean works but it isn’t as creative as Katie’s.

To be fair, Queen is something really clear and defined word that brings images to mind instantly. Bouncy is a lot more abstract.
You should do a challenge where you each make a separate batch and every 2 mins or something you have to switch to the others batch until it’s done

One thing I love about Katie and her family is that they’re so supportive and nice to each other and to other creators. She didn’t have to help Kenny with the crown, but she did because she’s just that kind of person.

I gotta say, I'm torn on this one. Kenny wins overall for me, because I feel like I would guess the word on that one. Katie's soap is cuter, but I don't think I would ever guess it was inspired by the word 'bouncing'. 😂

Ok but am I the only person who doesn't even know how/why he left? From what I know he just stopped being in soap videos after a very successful rise from novice to pro, which we all got to witness. 🤷🏼♀️ I don't know if I missed it in a video somehow or if they talked about it on social media (which I very rarely do) or if it really is this awkward unspoken thing 😳

I love the color Kenny’s hair has faded to! Don’t get me wrong I loved it before but it’s sooo beautiful now.
Katie’s soap reads more “Halloween” than “Bouncy”
If she'd gone with a Tigger-themed soap, it could've worked out a little better. Using dividers like Kenny used, she could make a tan/cream-colored center and put orange and black stripes on either side. Red spherical embeds for bouncy red balls would tie it together.
These two have their own personal familia accents when they talk and I'm LIVING for it!

I like how Kenny has such a simple design, yet it looks so good! Katie's is more complex and looks awesome, but (and I'm newer so I could wrong) from what I see, she likes to do big, kind if complex soaps. I get it though, more room for creative that way.

I was hoping she was going to do something bouncy ball or bubble themed, Circular inbeds with some half poking out of the soap just sounds way too fun

Katie I think did a better soap when it comes to execution but, I like the risk Kenny took with his soap. Really is hard to pick.
When Katy said “pumpkins in the night” sounds like a murder mystery, she was so right!! There’s actually a japanese gory murder story called “pumpkin night” about a girl who kills people wearing a creepy pumpkin mask on her head and it’s equally interesting as it is scary😳
When the theme turned out to be queen, i immediately thought of trixie Mattel. It’s funny, I don’t remember the rest of the vid, I spent the next hour thinking about how a trixie themed soap would look like

I’ve been watching your channel for like 2 years now and I legit just made my first loaf of soap it turned out ok...... but I know that I can do better but it was so fun
It's amazing how fast you start getting better. My first batch had to be rebatched due to false trace, then the oatmeal I put on top got cooked in, and well it's soap, but it looks like globs of cold oatmeal.
Today I'm making a ton of Apple slice inbeds for an apple pie soap. This is only my 4th batch.
That oo-da-la-di in the background was great!!

Hey, can you make popsicle soaps with a tall soap mold with popsicle sticks in them?
You can but I honestly don't know if the actual sticks would be fine in soap.

There are silicone popsicle molds. I'd go with those.
Although the stick is part of the mold, so not really saleable.

I love them both!! As far as fulfilling the theme, I think Kenny was more spot on because Katie's takes a bit of explanation. Katie's is a bit cleaner in execution but Kenny's is so creative and the red and black like that is so my anesthetic! They are both amazing, but I have to say I like Kenny's more.
