Brilliant video as usual if that was my snooker room it would have a bar in corner pro lighting heated table and it would be immaculate love your videos am just jealous because you have your own table am 59 now decent player you must have been close to turning pro
Playing this at 1.25x speed makes the video watchable for me, the default speed sounds like it's been artificially slowed down compared to your normal videos and it's kinda distracting.
I've been watching this channel for a few years now and applying everything to my 8 ball game (I live in Hobe Sound, Florida, USA) and all I know is I have gone from not being able to hold a stick properly to winning my local tournament a few times and nobody wanting to play with me... Thank You and Cheers!
Interesting and very informative video on the various types of spin, their possible effects and applications. I have a remark related to the video itself, it sounded to me like the audio was slowed down a bit. Did anyone else have the same experience?
@@infrabasseYeah that’s what I thought. On previous instructional videos it can be slightly harder to take in everything up to speed when you’re really trying to concentrate. I feel like this is a deliberate attempt to slow bits down and make it easier to digest
Follow-through itself doesn't create more spin, all that matters is where you hit it, the angle of your cue in respect to the table and the power you hit it with. Follow-through is simply a tool for a lot of people to accomplish this
Spin can be generated without follow thru, but follow thru is the technique to create more spin.. you don't even need to hit hard if u do a slow follow thru
Noticed your tip has a lip around the ferrell, does this help? I do my own tips and make it flush with the ferrell as i thought thats what you had to do. Is it just a way to play with an easier say 10mil tio on a 9 mil ferrell or is there another benefit?
Absolutely great video once again, spin defined and explained ❤. Hopefully I'm still waiting for the different bridge hands video and how to play with those bridges, explaining the gap between the cue ball and the hand from various positions and shots to play from the edge of the table while the ball is still a but away from the rail and how to place your hands in different positions on the rail or the wood and play same shot using multiple bridges. Just so eager for such video now😅. Well done like always.
Technically to generate spin you want the cue accelerate and push thru, but not constant speed.. if is just a constant speed, the white will leave the cue after the first impact and not much spin will be generated..
This is the video I would've loved to watch when I first started playing, crystal clear explanation and no faff. Great video!
very helpful good vid I want to see you play against Stephen Hendry that would be a good game

Hi, how long have you been playing snooker
This is one of the most useful videos you've created. Such brilliant info here, thank you!

I'm with you on this, 1.25 sounds like the natural tempo in other videos.
Totally agree. Something wrong with the edit or maybe he'd just been to the dentists
i actually went with 1.5x. normal playback speed was unbearable.
I just put it on 0,5x and have a gin and tonic, or five.😂

I’m just glad it’s actually helping people. In theory it works but I’m never sure how well people can understand my videos

It wasn’t so I hope something hasn’t gone wrong
I took this as a deliberate attempt to give people the time to properly absorb the potentially new information to them.

Brilliant stuff mate

i was 100% legitimate convinced both sides on a cue ball where an absolute clickbait thumbnail. Im baffled. Interesting. The more you know
This is probably the most helpful cue sports channell out there. I owe you a beer
Why do you not mention the effect side has on the object ball?
Do people look at the cue ball or the object ball a split second before you take the shot?

@@alienck3901 my point is that it doesn't matter what happens after the contact with the cue ball has been made.
You’re right, but I find that I am way less accurate and consistent with potting/cue ball control without a long backswing and follow through.
Hello, I would like to ask about the cue case. Real leather, aluminum, PU, which one can block or reduce moisture and temperature?
Not sure on that. I’ve just ended up with an aluminium one because it falls apart less easily.
@@Breakfromlife got it, thanks

I often wonder the same thing. You can often see those mushroom tips on TV too. Harder to do at home if you don't have a lathe.
It can feel a little better if it’s overhanging the edge a fraction

Could you do a video where you play with different size tips like a 10mm 9mm and a 8mm seeing which is the best
Get some new cloth on that table fella 😂
