Most remarkable that Krishna Lunch has been served at the exact same location on UF campus EVERY DAY classes were in session since 1972. That was the year a group of devotees founded the Krishna House nearby and our founder Srila Prabhupada visited Gainesville just for a day. The cast changes every 2 years but the tradition and the legacy has endured for all these years. The spiritual Bhakti movement has spread to over 100 countries, with nearly 1000 locations: temples, farms, eateries and communities in every nook and cranny of this planet. Outside India, the largest group of followers are now in Russia and Ukraine.
Never forget & suppress the child we all are from within. When we are among the right people, we can be the child we were and we still are from within.

Vaishnavas or Hare Krishna devotees are bonded across over 100 countries. One giant spiritual community without any barriers of language, ethnicity, wealth or education. The practices and rituals are exact same, whether you are in Melbourne, Buenos Aires, Moscow, Delhi or New York. Ukrainian and Russian devotees are serving meals and necessities to the needy right in middle of war zone .. in Kharkov, Luhansk, Kiev, Lviv, et al. Our centers all over Europe are hosting refugees who have escaped conflict and sought shelter.
