Great mug! For Christmas my wife got me a metal plaque showing a cat atop a pile of books. The motto says, “It’s not hoarding if it’s books.” My own memorable characters list would include Mr. Jonas, the junkman from Ray Bradbury’s “Dandelion Wine,” a minor character perhaps but memorable nonetheless, and Jordan Baker from “The Great Gatsby,” a character I’d hate if I actually knew her but whom I find fascinating as a character. I also like the Ghost of Christmas Past from “A Christmas Carol.” I love the line “I show you the shadows of things that have been. That they are what they are, do not blame me.”
You're looking fully recovered, Old Guy! A great character I just encountered was JR Isidore, the "special" (person with substandard IQ) from _Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep._ Really surprised by that novel

I'm also partial to the Grim Reaper, whenever he shows up in something.

Thanks!. I should remember Isidore, but I don't. That whole "old guy" thing.
I like Brown Dog in Brown Dog Redux by Jim Harrison
Dang, now something else on the TBR.
