I am a Miao/Hmong, my ancestors lived in China and we fled southward to Laos due to war with the Han Chinese in the past, now I live in the United States. My family is poor when living in Laos and seeing your video brings out memories of my past.
There are many Miao living in thriving communities in China. You should visit them.
