Good morning professor. You are very right in your analysis on Gachagua but remove the word MAY and the analysis is home and dry.osca sudi has already said it at all the meeting's he attend.. Dr Ruto has also said so in his speech. Therefore once the investigation is complete Gachagua will be arrested.

What is wrong with the bill ?
Obama passed a very contentious bill called Affordable healthcare Act or AHA, which was vehemently opposed by Republicans and it led to many congressmen and women who voted for it to loose their seats. The bill raised taxes to fund the healthcare, and many were not happy. But Obama stood up against the challenges against all odds. His life was even threatened.
But guess what, the law has become popular slowly to the extent that if one threatens to " Repeal and replace", the mantra used, runs the risk of loosing.
Helping people, sometimes requires very unpopular things, which will be understood much, much later .
This finance bill was meant to free us from the shackles of debt. People just don't get it, or are misinformed by the likes of Owino and Wamuchomba.
Now, we have to borrow, borrow and borrow, while also subsidizing.
Ruto was Moses trying to get us out of slavery, but we prefer being slaves.
Ruto is a wealthy man and even if he leaves, he will be okay. The GenZs and many others will be in their same situations or worse.

I don't disagree w/ your recounting of the political fight, but Obamas ACA was a bait-and-switch law written by insurance lobbyist for the insurance industries(look it up). It is an unnecessarily convoluted process that varies in each state, and full of coverage limitation. Talk to any rank-in-file healthcare worker or anybody who has sought to navigate the ACA system, most will agree. Ask yourself why Obama did not take the easier solution of just expanding the already long established healthcare system funded by the govt(Medicare)? Bcz the only way to get it over-the-line was to let insurance co. create this separate scheme that matches you to an insurer that isn't exactly free in many cases, and still excludes many who need and can't afford care. But Obama gets a feather in the ole legacy hat for a sham bill. Both parties have sold out to corporate interests long ago. Democrats are just more nuanced about it...at least until recently.
I think gachagua is bitter with haji coz he is the one who ordered for his arrest during Uhuru tenure so may be he is revenging ..

@ Bernard Mwangi, please note that Raila put Kibaki in power by declaring ' Kibaki tosha'.so how did Raila betray Kibaki? The truth is that Kikuyus do not want other tribes to ascend to the Presidency. Ruto has given Kikuyus equal appointments with kales at the expense of other tribes,but you are not satisfied. You are merely looking for a reason to reclaim the Presidency that is why you are vilifying Ruto. Gachagua will be the worst dictator and and a tribalist. Remember the 'SHARES' Remark by him.
