Oregon’s Northwest coastal cities see snow

Several coastal cities in Northwest Oregon, including Seaside, saw a dusting of snow Monday. A rarity, especially in most of the beachside communities.

Snow in the forecast? Sure! I have seen next to nothing but a mixed rain/snow shower on sunday and even that lasted maybe 10 minutes. I'd love to wake up to a coating of snow in Salem where I live on wed. morning, but I'm not convinced it is happening.
