- In this episode of Wandering Wagners, we decided to get some Turboant M10 Folding Electric Scooters to see how they compared to other campground modes of transportation!

We previously reviewed the Lectric E-bikes and wanted some scooters to see the difference and to see which ones we'd prefer and why.
We really liked the bikes but the scooters do have some benefits over the bikes. Firstly, the WEIGHT! The bikes weight 63lbs and can be cumbersome to move around when folded up. The Scooters weight 29 lbs and basically have a built in handle when they're folded down. That was great!
The M10 scooter can travel 18-23 miles on a charge, and can go 20 mph! The brakes on the scooters are probably one of our favorite things compared to the Lectric E-bikes! They work so well and are very quiet!
These scooters are perfect for riding around the campground and feeling the wind on you face. We really did have a lot of fun with them and we can't wait to keep riding them in the future.
We took our Nexus Wraith 34W Super C RV to on of our favorite local parks...An Ohio State park, Maumee Bay in Oregon, Ohio. We were able to see our friends Dave and Andrea from @FollowingtheFitchs , and Mike and Melanie. The weather didn't want to cooperate the whole time, (go figure!) so we made the most of what we could!

She's literally the perfect dog when we aren't around new dogs. She's a lot of work but we love her and want her to not be scared of dogs. Lots of time, effort and money but hoping it'll pay off in the long run!

Fun video! I was visiting a college campus a while ago and the students were speeding across campus on those scooters! I guess if we could go slower it might be a good option for us. Might have to check them out! Loved Andrea’s failed getaway attempt! 🤣
They don't have as much torque get up and go as the bikes so they're easier to ride if you don't want too much power. They're still fun and feel very stable though! I think Andrea should get a scooter... Less distance from the ground lol

Love the scooters ! I did have a friend that got one a couple of years back ! When his battery died it will come to a complete stop. Hopefully that has changed lately ?
We didn't run it until the battery died so unknown what will happen haha but maybe we will have to do that to see! They are really fun especially for the shorter runs around.
We have one of those battery powered pumps for pumping up air mattresses or boats. When we're having problems getting the fire to stay lit, we hit it with that pump. Woosh.
That would work great! Sometimes we will use a little fan or use cardboard but the fire wasn't at our site this time.
Just a tidbit on the wine bottle opener. If it is like the one I had, you need to cut the tip of the foil off first. Next, place the opener on the top of the bottle and press the switch down and keep it pressed until it stops. It should completely remove the cork. To remove the cork, simply press up on the switch until the cork drops out of the opener.
The foil top was removed prior to using. The opener isn't ours (it was our friends) they let us borrow it and told me how to use it... So I just followed their instructions. Haha this is why I just drink beer. Don't need a fancy opener for that🍺😂 we have a normal wine opener that is much more efficient than this thing lol
What a weird coincidence to be suggested this video when maumee bay is right next to me. A great place for cruising around on PEVs. I ride my EUC there all the time!

The scooters look interesting but my doctor says stick to my 10 speed of ancient origin, it's something about exercise. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
Well you do have to use your foot to push off and get it going... So there's a little exercise😂
Look like a very compact unit but would still need bike for balance issue have fun enjoy
Yeah bikes would be better for that but I actually feel more stable on the scooter, oddly enough. Both options are pretty fun and a great way to get outside and explore. Thanks for the comment!!🙌🏻
You may like to check out Charlestown State Park in southern Indiana if you ever are down that way. We just camped there for 3 nights.

This trip was epic lol. The wine opener does all the work lol hold button down till the cork comes all the way out.
I'll have to tell Fitchs they don't know how to use their own wine bottle opener haha they let us borrow it and told me how to use it but everyone keeps saying it's wrong LOL go figure!😂🤦🏼♀️

How the acceleration??
Not that great, but good enough. From a stop your assist it and pull the throttle at the same time to get up to your desired speed.

I forgot to put our yard sign out this trip. The Wraith does have our logo on the front license plate but the Jeep blocked it when we were parked haha I have thought about getting a tire cover for the Jeep though!
Liked those scooters but being an amputee, I will ride my 3 wheel power scooter. Looks like a mini motor cycle but it gets 65 miles before a major charge. It's got the Harley motorcycle handlebars on it and the power controls.top speed is 25 mph.

We took our daily walk at the Bay and saw Fitches lot first then we started looking for you guys and found you on the next loop. It was too early for you young campers to be up though. We were hoping to meet the doggies both mornings. Seems like half the campers had their pups with them. Maumee Bay will have two loops and the newest shower house open all winter. Hope to see you another weekend. Oh, and those scooters are not safe for us 65+ riders. We will stick with our regular skinny tire ebikes. Maumee Bay 1 out.
Oh, our dogs don't let us sleep past 06:29. They get fed at 06:30! Hope to meet you one day!
I'm just glad Maumee Bay will stay open this year because it was closed for modifications the last 2 Winters! It's a nice getaway if we need to stay close to home😁
If that wine opener is like ours, you push the up button to pull the cork. Not pull on the opener. lol
🤷🏼♀️ they said that the other button was to unwind the cork after you've pulled it out. I'm not really a wine drinker so heck if I know😂 they just let us borrow it.
@@WanderingWagners if they are reading this, or next time you see them, then try it with the button. I believe that’s the whole idea of the automatic wine opener.

I’m 79 when I was a child we always made toast on our gas stove we love tha taste and sometimes I will toast and have with my sunny side eggs and cup tea
It worked great! When we cook breakfast over the campfire we make toast in the grate. Yum!

Glad you enjoyed your trip! We're bummed as our 5er suffered a catastrophic failure of one of our slide-outs so we are stuck idle till duration unknown.
Yes! The scooters are a lot easier to handle and faster to get up and running but they aren't as quick from the start but we love them!

I’m pretty sure that’s not how you use a wine bottle opener electric line you put it all away and then I think there’s two buttons on the side that you hold and put it in reverse and it pulls the cork out for you also I wish I had one of those electric scooters unfortunately I’ll never be able to afford one

Me, myself, and i are too old for scooters. I ride a Harley Ultra Limited. I rented one of those scooters and fell flat on my ass. Nope, I’ll stick with my scooter.

Exactly! I like the scooter better than the bike just for ease and fun but the bikes are quick to get up to speed!
I understand that you guys have a shit ton of money but coming from someone that has spent some time of their life struggling living paycheck to paycheck and had to work multiple jobs to make ends meet it was incredibly distasteful.

It’s a piece of cheap junk. Battery arrived dead, and I had to call and email them multiple times to finally get a refund. The return address in a warehouse in the middle of nowhere in rural Missouri. DO NOT BUY!
