I worked on pools for 20 years and I fold the patch over a brush and put it on that way so I don’t have to get in the pool. I am going to help my friend tomorrow fix his so he doesn’t have to pay somebody. I need to find some liner scraps for patches. I can’t find mine since it’s been all hot tubs and swim spas since 2019. My vinyl glue still seems good from staying in the can in a bag. Way better than pvc glue. Even though I like pvc glue thick I mix it so it’s always thick

"Add weight to the patch". How do you "add weight" to a patch on the side wall? Anyone got some C clamps the size of a buffalo?

My problem is a few rocks I didn’t see actually caused some small tears I will have to drain my pool completely to get the rocks out from underneath and then patch it dry. Ugh what a pain
