A bad future awaits the salmon and now with the pink salmon invading its waters, I hope that in the future we will not have to remember the magnificent reproducers that are killed in this river every year.
There is no justification to kill a salmon of that size. I'm a life long angler of Atlantic Salmon that understands the peril that humans have wreaked on the species. Consider your children and grandchildren and ask yourself, "do I want them to have an opportunity to enjoy this pastime too?".
Why not - much better than hooking it, fighting it, and then letting the fantastic swim back and die, just because humans wants to have fun. I’m a fisherman myself, and take every legal salmon or seatrout I catch. I love catching them as well as getting them smoked and serve it for good friends. Then fishing makes really sense.
It is evident that that beautiful salmon was killed because the law allows it. Wrong law made by wrong men. Unfortunately there are people who go fishing to eat. Needy starving, who don't give a damn about leaving their children and grandchildren a better world.
And who would check? I was lucky enough to fish, in 35 years of fly fishing, the most beautiful rivers in the world. I was checked 1 time !!! There are those who eat whales, and those like me who go fishing for the pleasure of fishing, not to eat the fish they have caught. For me, keeping even one fish in a year, with all the environmental problems we have, is another way to leave a worse world for our children and grandchildren.
@@furiominuti3783. i am a sport fisherman too and i understand your point, but people are not destroying the environment by eating fish. not the same as eating whales. Fish are food, and there is a way for people to keep them, without damaging populations.
@@fishingwithmagnes4114 I'm sorry, but I can't figure out who goes fishing for their own pleasure and kills what they catch, even if they are allowed. Let's not forget, especially Atlantic salmon is in the river to reproduce. The survivors, a few, go back to the sea. In 35 years, I have killed two Pacific salmon in Alaska because I ran out of food in one of my solitary float trips. I still regret it.
Herlighet for en kaosfilm. :D

to eat it

@@furiominuti3783 the law also creates limits, which allows people to only keep a certain number of fish. This is so the populations do not die.

This is sad
So you dont eat fish? Eat your cat then.. s...
no its not. its called life, fish dies, people eat.
What a waste to kill that kind of a beauty...so sad to see this stuff from my favorite river🥲
go to finland and fish then if local people can not take some salmon!
Didn’t mean to criticize anyone personally. Anyway an awesome fish & pro fishing :) couldn’t have landed that myself - that’s for sure!
not a waste, those people ate salmon that night.
The days of killing Atlantic salmon and Steelhead are over. You will have the "pleasure" of driving these species to extinction!
