    I love to see your board games :$
    I am a huge board game enthousiast and your shelf made me connect with you instantly.
    Seeing that you are a guy with other hobbies and centers of interest than discgolf makes you so much more relatable (to me) than most of the other discgolf youtuber who just seem to take themselves too seriously.

      Definitely want to bring a shelf into the new space with some of my favorite board games. Maybe gives a chance to highlight some of those too rather than the giant wall 😁

      Yup, I second the addition of board games in your new space. I feel pretty similarly to @Jean-Francois LeCornu.

    This is the content I was looking for! Fantastic. Please consider making more of these! Doesn’t need to be AS detailed if it takes too long to produce. But going through the options and shot selection is where us noobs can learn the most

    I became a Patron because of your videos like this. As a beginner, this type of hole breakdown help me tremendously. Ps. As long as the content is quality, I don’t even notice the background. Keep making these, and thank you.

    Here me out: whole round of discussing ur shots. Dont necessarily have to show every option, but like a normal round, just verbalize your thoughts and play through.

    • @blakel95
      @blakel95 ปีที่แล้ว

      There's a golf player who has an entire channel dedicated to those kinds of videos. "Golf Sidekick". He's a scratch player that just verbalizes his thoughts and why he takes each club for each shot. It's brilliant, and there's definitely room for a channel like that in the disc golf community. Disc golf course management - by example.

    I love the board games! It kind of tells us who you are in a different way. Wouldn't mind seeing some sweet plastic too.
    Thanks for all your hard work Robbie! You've come a long way, for sure.

    I think the Ed Hoffman is actually a pretty wonderful example of how often ingenuity gets you far in this game. You see the pro players sometimes take very different types of shots and end up in positions that suits their play. What I'd like to see in future videos is for your hair line to recede a little bit more so that I wouldn't be the only long-haired bald guy playing disc golf.

    Just my .02, your backdrop is very simple and I feel like it represents your current (or maybe slightly past?) self. Whatever your new set up ends up being, just keep being you and no one else. You say this channel is about us, but I'ma be honest, I watch because I like your personality.

    I think a cool idea for a set would be a shelf that has items on it. For the videos about discs or accessories you could line them up on the shelf in order so people can visually see what you are going over in the video. It doesn’t have to be the main background but a part of it off to the left or right so to give people an idea of what will be talked about.

I saw some of your older ones recently, and had the thought "wow he has really improved the overall quality of his videos from camera to video editing to content." I work with a lot of media for my day job, so I have an eye for all those details. Keep up the great work, man!

    My two cents, keep everything to the left of the far left door frame (built-in with board games, Funko's, etc). Get a sign with the channel name and some graphics that fits on the front of or over your TV. On the right wall, throw up a green screen so the door is covered and you have the flexibility to show whatever you want. Oh, and add more board games. Might I be so bold as to suggest Pandemic or Gloomhaven.

    Hi, I've been playing disc golf since April, and I'm still throwing backhand from a standstill. I don't have any forehand to speak of. I'm throwing pretty much anything 5+ speed 180-220'. I've been working on not rounding and nose angle. I was wondering if I should work on perfecting my standstill form before adding the walk-up or will adding the walk up be such a big change that I need to add it first. Thanks for any advice you can give.

    • @RobbieCDiscgolf
      @RobbieCDiscgolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’d definitely keep working on that standstill! Once you get that feel down incorporate one step, and from there move into a full throw!
