It's amazing that you are making these videos to help people; you are amazing and underrated (like your hairstyles). Since you've studied all the FM modules, I have a question for you. At school we are doing Further Mechanics and Decision Maths as our option modules. AS Maths and the Stats part of AS Level Maths are quite straightforward because I did GCSE Statistics and know GCSE Further Maths. Therefore, this year I thought I might try and use some of my extra time to do an extra option module for personal interest - most likely Further Stats 1. What do I need to know before starting Further Stats 1? Is it only AS Statistics or does it rely on a lot of Y13 Statistics as well? (When I say 'Statistics' I'm referring to the statistics in regular maths.) So I can focus on getting those foundations down first, before starting something harder :) Thank you so much!
Thank you for your comment, I really appreciate it! So here are the things you need to know for FS1: - Binomial Distribution - Hypothesis Testing - Normal Distribution (you don't need this for the first few chapters, but it will be important for the later ones) - a little bit of probability, maybe some conditional probability from Year 2 Statistics Hope that helps! Sounds like a great idea to do some additional learning!
sir this is beyond brilliant! I can't believe how fast you finished making these videos! thank you thank you thank you! just a question, do you do any TMUA support?
Thank you so much! I will be starting on the Pure Year 2 ones soon, but have been working on another project that I am hoping will launch very soon :) I am afraid I don't have the expertise to do any TMUA support right now, maybe something that will change in the future, but not this year I'm afraid!
Mr bicen which app do use use in your videos, like in the "All you need to memorize in a level maths" videos Also your videos have been a great help, thank you for your hard work sir
Other than these videos, I'm learning a new language, which I want to document on this channel, in order to explain strategies for learning new things. I also have some other projects I am working on which I don't want to share just yet... :)
@@BicenMaths Good Luck. Looking forward to learn more from you mate. I'm just going to resit A Level Maths and Further Maths next year. You videos have been really helpful.
Hello there, I'm a year 11 doing first year a level at the moment, finding it incredibly easy, just wondering the difference between a level and further a level,
There's a jump up in terms of problem solving and the algebraic manipulation demands - you'll find that in FM they expect you to do things that are in regular maths very, very quickly, and not awarding any marks for it!
I don't understand why at 12:18 you said that the x value cannot be negative, because surely you square it making it positive? For Instance ln(5-3) is still positive but it has a negative number in it. I do understand why it can't be negative just I'm not too certain on this particular question
But in the initial equation, x is not being squared, it is 2logx. You're correct that if the original equation was with log(x^2), then a negative wouldn't matter, but the original equation has x as an input, so this input cannot be negative!
Ah I am sorry to hear this - I wish that it could be rolled out to all countries! People in other countries have used VPNs to successfully access the videos, but I don't have the details on this as I haven't tried it myself.
You could do that, but it would then give you the total number of months, and so you'd need to work out how many years and months that is... just getting rid of the 8 means we know we have 8 years, we're just finding out how much extra of a year we have in months!
Hi Mr Bicen, I'd just like to let you know there are duplicate and dispersed playlists on your channel for edexcel A2 pure chapter 1: algebraic methods. Could you make a single playlist for that chapter? I have listed all the playlists here 1. th-cam.com/play/PL0SSkmc4r_Ba46qxQrdvRebWaSZf4XBJx.html 2. th-cam.com/play/PL0SSkmc4r_BbZgXYaM341PnLp352czxKh.html 3. th-cam.com/play/PL0SSkmc4r_BYnab8-6K6PPfYkaYpk5g_2.html 4. th-cam.com/play/PL0SSkmc4r_Basdsu4JVGJZkjMfQo1d5Da.html Other than that, thanks! Thank you! This is because they were filmed with different classes - I have now made some of these playlists unlisted! If you want the 'official' ones, you can always find them on my channel home page :)
Best Maths Teacher, saving me for my yr 13 mocks 👍👍
THANK YOU!! i have a test on this soon and this is so useful for refreshing my memory of the content
Great to hear this - good luck for the test!
@@BicenMaths thank you !!
Insanely helpful to quickly brush up on topics, thank you so much
You’re very welcome! :)
Sat my A-Levels a while ago, leaving like and comment for Algorithm.
You're doing very good work there, thank you thank you! :)
I have a mock exam on Wednesday on all pure year 1 & chapter 1 and 2 of year 2. This is very helpful
good luckk!!
Good luck!!!
how did it go>?
truly a life saver, thanks!!
saving my a levels, could u do the same for stats and mechanics
I'm hoping to do this soon! Definitely want to have summaries for all the chapters for both Year 1 and Year 2.
@@BicenMathsstart it to cover the entire pure yr2 and stats and mech aswelll

I hope to do this in time for the exam this academic year :)

Thank you so much, will you do one for mechanics and stats
Yes, I hope to do this!

Thanks for these very nice videos. Will you also do the same for Year 1 Stats and Mechanics?
Yep, they'll be coming soon!
I would like to access the further maths vids but i cant become a member in my country (Trinidad) sadly
I am not writing further maths but writing Pure and Applied maths which has incorporations of all the modules so it would still be helpful .
Ah I am sorry to hear this - I wish that it could be rolled out to all countries! People in other countries have used VPNs to successfully access the videos, but I don't have the details on this as I haven't tried it myself.
please do the same for yr13 pure topics, as well as applied if possible before summer. ur a legend
It will definitely be there before summer, I'm hoping to have most of it done by the end of this year!
@BicenMaths that's amazing, perfect for Feb mocks ur the goat
Hi sir will u have the whole course alevel course done by March for the mocks? Thanks in advance ur the best teacher
Absolutely, they will all be complete by then! Thank you! :)
You said you can't take the natural log for 5^x+1=5^2x -6 at 9:00 but I did it and it worked. I don't see why it wouldn't work?
You can take it, it's just easier to spot that x+1=2x-6 directly!
please do this for statistics and mechanics please!!
It'll happen, eventually!
21:05 why is it not 8.8117 x 12?
You could do that, but it would then give you the total number of months, and so you'd need to work out how many years and months that is... just getting rid of the 8 means we know we have 8 years, we're just finding out how much extra of a year we have in months!
Can you please do summaries of stats mechanics or year 2 thank you!
Yes, I’m hoping to get started on these from Monday!
Will you do similar videos on applied maths ?
Yes, 100%. They will be coming soon!
Please do stats and mechanics
I will do, soon!
