The food you make always looks amazing but something I never understood is why you will upgrade everything but you keep the same pre sliced plastic cheese when you can get some better quality and it would amplify the quality and flavor. I do get its just a TH-cam video so its not like you are going to be feeding family or friends and im probably over thinking everything because that's what I do often. Love watching you cook

Got my vote. Thought I'd share a recipe my wife invented (as far as I can tell) that is simple, quick, and delicious. Smoked salmon pasta. You take your smoked salmon and cut into chunks and throw that into a pan with olive oil and capers and salt and pepper. Saute, which happens really quickly. We use cappellini, which after cooked that also happens quickly, we put the pasta in the saute pan, stir, add some heavy cream, stir and you're ready to plate. Goes great with a dry, crisp white wine.

I used to mix mayo and ketchup and dip fries into it, I'd also use a little on meatloaf. This is before heinz made it for sale at stores. For some reason it got so disgusting ..... Even thinking about it makes me gag. I used to love it.

I watched his first In n Out burger video. They are brioche buns. You can buy mini ones too. I've made this burger before but using mini brioche buns because those were the only ones I could find at the supermarket.
Sam, can you PLEASE invest in a real scraper? Every time you make smash-style patties you lose the crust because you want to use your spatula. There’s not much point in using that cooking method without that crust.
Nathan Smith a scraper is specifically designed to separate food from a cooking surface. The blade is sharper to ensure that it gets under the food and doesn’t leave any behind. Spatulas are too dull.

Just a heads up..The main thing for an animal style burger from in n out is that they mustard fry it. So basically before cooking you rub mustered on it. Love all the videos
@@Garth2011 the whole point is to smash them on the grill it gives better surface area for a crust. He just need to get a proper technique, use the back of the spatula and push away and it will.get right underneath the burger.

I’ve got a 5 Guys, In n Out, Habit and McDonalds around the corner from our house... I would rather eat at McDonald’s than go to 5 Guys. My ranking is as follows: Habit, In n Out, McDonald’s and if I have to do a mystery shop, 5 Guys.
Tucker H I have more consistency at McDonald’s than at 5 Guys. I’ve had dry burgers, cold fries, greasy soggy fries, just no consistency. Never had issues with the other restaurants. Personally, for the price, 5 Guys is not worth it. I’ll eat at Habit for my fancy burger. Which coming from my years in food service is not that often, as I do most of my cooking at home.

Just a little griddle seasoning needed or smash them on wax paper first then lay them on the griddle, they won't stick so much.
