Gosh I wish we could get those here in the States. Every time I visit Europe I LOVE seeing these Octavias on the road.
When you see them literally everywhere everyday like here in Finland they dont look so good or cool anymore. (Its the most sold car on Finland)

Such a beautiful car. There is a lot of space in it - not like an 3-door *boomboom* car … and a good acceleration. With an Octavia RS you got a lot of fun for a good price.
Skoda starts to be a very serious player in the game, I like it 👍
It's just a shame that vw/audi didn't allow skoda to use the haldex AWD system for the mk3.5 octavia vRS.

I know nothing about Skoda as an American but this looks like a more upscale Elantra N or something along those lines. Cool car.
Forget your BMW's... These are the REAL hero's of the Autobahn. I see them often and they are always flat out.
Also in Polish autostradas, especially A2,, there is always octavia aproaching with 180-200 in the mirror.

I love they modded the DSG software as well, I just hate ECU'n engine boosted to the max and then transmission just forgotten

This was longest kept daily i have had. Mine was manual wagon with 340hp 510nm and it was really nice to drive.
Hello, what changes did you make besides remap, and did you swap for stronger clutch ?
@@kristijan933 Didnt do any other performance related upgrades and sure clutch is first thing that gaves up on manual so you will need new clutch if you are going to have same power. It will hold some time but mine was allready slipping when i traded to another car.

There's a mistake in this video:
You said that this octavia has a KW V1 suspension and later on, when you switched to driving mode "individual", you said that it had DDC and you could turn the suspension into comfort mode - which is not true. The KW V1 will deactivate the function of the ddc, only the KW DDC has an ecu for the adaptive dampening system and adaptive dampers.

I never understood the obsession of exhaust sound inside the car. Intake sound is what you want to hear inside the car. Exhaust sound outside.
There is no doubt Skoda has upped their game in the last seven years or so. I remember renting Skodas for weeks at a time during my summers in Europe in the 90’s and there is no comparison at all. Actually one close comparison is Kia /Hyundai nowadays compared to them in the 90’s and 2000’s. They’re making properly fast cars now!

@@MBBenky93 you probably will have to mod it yourself bro. a stage 2 remap with intercooler and cold air intake should take you close to 300-310 PS and maybe some downpipe should bring 10-20 PS more...
Easy, Change turbo for is38 (golf r, s3, passat/superb 206 kw), make stage I
Octavia has is20 turbo that can do max. cca 350 hp with heavy modifications and you have car on its limit- not good for long term, is38 turbo way bigger, up to cca 450 hp, so 360-390 stage I is still ok :)
Tint front window is illegal also in Netherlands

DCC snd KW V1 ??? That is not possible unless it has DCC anulated (with DCC anulators on each damper). Otherwise, if the driving modes really feels changing suspension hardness, that means it has the KW DDC Plug&Play coilover adaptive set which is way more expensive than a V1 setup
I have dcc on redesign, tdi, 4x4 184 ps. I want to lower car just to look better. Can you suggest any springs that can work with dcc. Thanks
