Honestly 10:07 ost is so fitting of the man who created the Reserach Institute, Alain Guillotin, a man who who wanted to create a better future for Fontaine, but instead the world rewarded him with tragedy after tragedy, his dear sister dead, his friends either dead or currupted, he ended up depressed snd focused on his research.
why is nobody talking about the first ost?? i heard it in game and immediately stopped and started tearing up. it sounds so melancholic, almost like sitting on a cliff with your lover and just watching the sunset, hand in hand

Overall a fantastic song. 15:53 This song spells out "a disaster occured here and everything you see around you is the aftermath". It gets you to sympathize with everyone who lost their lives due to the tragedy. 17:43 Probably the most interesting song here. This immediately reminded me of the Fatui the first time I heard it. Could very well be one of their themes. However, the sinister feel could also be referencing Edwin Eastinghouse, the researcher who caused the catastrophe. In the world quest about the Fontaine Research Institute, you can find out about what kind of person he was, and well, listening to this should already give you a clear idea. I think that's what they were truly going for with this track.
Track 6 is soo nice, I loved it since they used it in 4.1 Livestream.. I hoped I can find a spincrystal with that soundtrack for my teapot, but none of them is that soundtrack :C
