I remember posting elsewhere that they remind me of what Little Mermaid and Eric would look like in real person! I love this OD! And that first lift!! OMG!!
This program is really a masterpiece, terribly difficult to act and to skate, especially at such a young age. But they did it in a magnificent way, with the right style and temper. I think that if they had skated this way at 2008's Worlds in Goteborg, whitout that little mistake during the twizzles, they would have won the gold medal instead of the silver one.Any way, fantastic as ever.
he probably already has!...and enjoyed it immensely!! yes, 4 such great north americans this year, gonna be hard to root for one or the other....just have to let it happen and see how it turns out!!! I think i will feel like a winner either way!!!
Well, I was kind of thinking there would be some French Tavern dances, or maybe some Irish heritage that carried over and developed some here. Even Norwegian or Swedish mazurkas or shoutishes.? But U R right, it is a hard question! But there does need to be a Canadian Polka, to compliment the YANKEE POLKA!!! I suppose there is even a Russian heritage in Vancouever area..but we have seen so many Russian folk dances....we don't really need another one (that was my disappointmentt) best wishes
I just found out that Canadian team Allie Hann-McCurdy and Michael? Coreno did some sort of Canadian dance. Yay for the dance, not so yay for the pair. I find their style quite tacky. This OD should be found on youtube as I watched it a few days ago.
XD Canadian folk dance. Try figuring that out when your country has been promoting that it's a melting pot of cultures. I guess you can characterize Native American dancing as "Canadian folk dance", although I bet that several Native American tribes once occupied both what is now the US and Canada at the same time... not to mention all the issues and politics about the past and present treatment of the First Nations peoples. Aka we don't really have a folk dance we can call our very own.
О они такие бесподобные такие особенные и такие обворожительные ну просто прелесть. Любите их❤❤❤
Thank you for posting this! I hadn’t seen this performance before!! Their artistry is just so impeccable.
This is such a strong and complicated OD. The foot work, the complex handholds, the dancing, the side by side non touch step sequence… wow
Sempre Bravissimi
LOVE the footwork! I also adore Tessa's outfit.

Super job! but aren't there any Canadian Folk Dances????
There isn't any Mongolian Dixieland, either. Or Finnish Blues.
Call me silly, but isn't he starting to look a LOT like Christopher Bowman ice dancing???? at least from this camera angle?????
