I am fortunate enough to be able to have taken a virtual lesson from Coach Baker.
It was very simple and he was able to help me with my game even though I videos were not the best. He noticed I had early timing and made a few suggestions about me standing tall. Keeping my legs straight and not bending my knees so much. With that one lesson my average has gone up 20 pins a game. I plan on having coach look over the new me and have the new me be an even better me.
I am 71 years old, I have been bowling for 17 months. My average on Lane talk has gone from 170 to 190 in a short time . Over the last 100 games I just keep getting better. If I mess up I can refer back and keep moving forward in a positive fashion. He is by far the best instructor I have had. If you want to get better, give Coach baker a chance to help you. He cost less than a new bowling ball! He is awesome !

Thanks for your virtual lesson mark! I’ve been on fire ever since! In my last 3 practices since the lesson, I have been been averaging 220 as a 190 bowler.

I'm not sure why Mark hasn't post any videos for some time. His thoughts are invaluable for anyone who wants to get better. I spent time with him at Fountain Bowl, as well as a clinic he did in Washington State. Both have made a "Mark"ed (pun intended) difference. My average went from 203-204 to right around 215. I'm in 3 leagues, this season, and I'm averaging close to 220 in 2 of them (210ish in the 3rd), with a 300 game last Friday night. His instruction was based on my strengths while working on areas that would keep me out of slumps. I have bad games, but my bounce backs are quick. No holding onto anything past each frame. That's the key! For me anyway. Any type of instruction from Mark will make a huge difference in anyone's game.

Can't wait for bowling centers to open in my area so that I can utilize this. The videos we get from Camp Bakes provide accurate feedback for many months after making changes, and are great reminders for bowlers who sometimes just need to get out of their own way. I'm sure this new way to take lessons will be quite helpful in this same way. :-)

Did it. Love it. It works. Whether you have a coach or not the 2nd set of eyes is worth it. It will give you confidence knowing the critical areas to improve on. Now you can focus on those areas to avoid fixing an area that isn’t broken. Thx Bakes
